postpone for an hour?
Tenkei Shinzui: Doesn't much matter to me

Tenkei Shinzui: Either way, I'm good

Tenkei Shinzui: Well, either we start to play now, or
I watch Lord of the Rings for another hour

DreaMwrite1: We would still have 3 hours to play if
we start at 7 though

hasn't bothered me before
Tenkei Shinzui: I've played much later than that
before, so time is irrelevant
DreaMwrite1: Ok if thats still good for you then we
will just reschedule for an hour later

Aira Ono: oh good
DreaMwrite1: k
DreaMwrite1: The group had spent the last few days
relaxing. After your great heroism in defeating Shinzoku and saving the village,
the villagers had offered all of you to stay with them for a few days to
celebrate.
DreaMwrite1: You were just getting ready to leave
when one of the soldiers who you had rescued from Shinzoku runs up to you with a
request...
DreaMwrite1: The Lord Dayu's daughter had been
murdered in a mysterious attack and her spirit has been wandering his manor as
if lost...
DreaMwrite1: Her spirit is trapped until a ceremony
is performed on her body which no one has been able to get close to her body.
DreaMwrite1: The soldier mentions to you that the
Lord is offering a reward for anyone who can help free his daughter's spirit.
DreaMwrite1: He begs that you come to help as he
knows you are great heroes and can solve this problem.
Tie Di Chiang: wicked ahsome
DreaMwrite1: ((As you can see I had been preparing
more on this one))
Tie Di Chiang: "where is Lord Daiyu's manor located?"
Tenkei Shinzui: "A lost spirit unable to cross over.
Truly a sad occurance." *bows* "I would be more than glad to help."
DreaMwrite1: "Oh thank you kind sir" says the soldier
Aira Ono: "hmmph probley forgot where the door was to
the house"
DreaMwrite1: "Come I will lead you all to my Lord's
manor" he gestures toward a path
Aira Ono: "Come along Yasha"*follows*
DreaMwrite1: The soldier didn't hear what you said

Tenkei Shinzui: *grabs his "daughter" by the hand*
"Come now. We are leaving"
DreaMwrite1: You all follow along the path toward the
Lord's manor
Tenkei Shinzui: *listens carefully and follows the
footsteps of the soldier*
DreaMwrite1: "Are there any questions you wish to ask
while we are walking to get there?"
Aira Ono: "How old was she"
DreaMwrite1: Aira and Tie you notice a dark cloud in
the distance
Tenkei Shinzui: "Yes, you mentioned that no one was
able to get close to the body. What is that is blocking their path?"
Aira Ono: *points*"whats that up ahead*
Tie Di Chiang: "how did she die?"
Aira Ono: ""
DreaMwrite1: He sighs "She was 18 and preparing to be
wed to the Lord Saburu"
Aira Ono: *looks to yasha*"Sounds like a swords name
huh?"
DreaMwrite1: "It was a great pain to us all with her
loss"
DreaMwrite1: Yasha just nods his head
DreaMwrite1: You see to be moving closer to the large
dark clouds
Tie Di Chiang: and, uh, what was preventing people
from getting to the body again?
DreaMwrite1: You here the booming of thunder and
lightning now
DreaMwrite1: As you move closer to the manor you see
it is surrounded by a large storm cloud
Tie Di Chiang: "what is involved in this ceremony?"
Tenkei Shinzui: "Sounds like a terrible storm"
DreaMwrite1: Rain beats down upon the stone path
Aira Ono: "Oh yea rain, i love the rain"
Aira Ono: *skips along*
Tie Di Chiang: *dons straw cape and hat*
Tenkei Shinzui: (I must remember to invest in one of
those hats in the future)
DreaMwrite1: "Well first we must take her body to the
graveyard and then the preist will say a few prairs."
DreaMwrite1: "I'm no expert on the specifics but that
is the just of it"
Tie Di Chiang: gist?
DreaMwrite1: "Ah we are almost there"
DreaMwrite1: ((gist, just whatever))
Tenkei Shinzui: "As for our other two questions. How
did she die and what is preventing people from approaching the body?"
Tie Di Chiang: I think the storm is part of that...
Aira Ono: *Goes to little girl*'Hi, do you like to
play in the rain also? What is your name"
DreaMwrite1: "Anyone who gets near the body is
stricken with great fear"
DreaMwrite1: "But you are all brave warriors, I know
you can get to her."
DreaMwrite1: "And on how she died...."
Aira Ono: *to little girl*"are you mute, or deaf or
something?"
DreaMwrite1: The little girl looks a little shy and
hides behind Tenkei
Tenkei Shinzui: "Aira, she doesn't talk much I'm
afraid."
Aira Ono: *pushes hair back over shoulders*"Well what
is her name?:"
Tenkei Shinzui: "She has been quiet since I first
found her"
Aira Ono: "I thought you were her father"
DreaMwrite1: "She was stabbed in the heart..."
Tenkei Shinzui: *puts his hand on her head* "Her
name, it is Aijiko"
DreaMwrite1: The odd thing was that she was in her
room which had soldiers guarding the outside...
Tenkei Shinzui: "Stabbed in the heart? So it was
murder then. Do you know who did it?"
DreaMwrite1: "We do not know"
Aira Ono: *Skips along looking around*"I so love the
rain, feels so refreshing"
DreaMwrite1: "I couldn't imagine who would want to
harm such beuty..."
DreaMwrite1: Lightning strikes a nearby tree
splitting it in half
Tie Di Chiang: are we at the manor yet?
Aira Ono: *jumps back a bit frightened*"hehe, wel..
wont ya just look at that..."
Tenkei Shinzui: "I fear that there are dark forces at
work. Forces that none of us may be quite ready to handle"
DreaMwrite1: Yes after some talking you get to the
manor
DreaMwrite1: The storm cloud creates a darkness
around the entire manor
DreaMwrite1: There are two armored soldiers guarding
the entrance.
Aira Ono: *skips up to em*"hi"
Aira Ono: *goes inside*
DreaMwrite1: "I am here with the heroes I spoke of"
the soldier says to them
Aira Ono: "Come Yasha"
DreaMwrite1: One of the soldiers looks at Aira "This
little girl a hero?"
DreaMwrite1: "You have lost your mind..."
DreaMwrite1: "But you may pass"
Tenkei Shinzui: *bows to the guards*
DreaMwrite1: You all walk into the manor
Aira Ono: *gets red but goes in*
DreaMwrite1: The light is very dim inside and you
hear the wind pressing against the walls of the door behind you
Aira Ono: *shakes hair getting the water out*
Aira Ono: *looks around*
DreaMwrite1: You see a man with a long white beard
and wearing a red robe walk before you. He is followed by another robed man who
appears a little younger, maybe in his 30s.
Aira Ono: *goes up to the robed man*'can i use your
robe for a second?"
DreaMwrite1: "My Lord this is highly inappropriate.
I've heard that that man is a ronin and should not be dealt with in any way. He
could turn on us in an instant."
DreaMwrite1: "And a little girl on top of it? Sir let
me get one of the guards to escort them out..."
Aira Ono: "Hey dont be so rude!"
Tenkei Shinzui: "In all my years. I have never once
betrayed a trust once. I have come her to help the girl"
DreaMwrite1: "Silence! These men may be the only hope
for my daughter's soul to finally rest!"
DreaMwrite1: Says the Lord
Aira Ono: *goes over to yasha*
DreaMwrite1: "Keep your girl under control,
mercenary." says the Lord's advisor
Aira Ono: *looks at em*"Im the one in control here
not him!"
Tie Di Chiang: a rogue, a child, and a chinaman...
we're quite the trio of things disliked in medieval japan :-P
DreaMwrite1: "Silence her or I will have you both
escorted out"
Tenkei Shinzui: :-D
Tie Di Chiang: well, they didn't have anything againt
kids I guess :-)
DreaMwrite1: ((Heh except smart ass ones))
Tenkei Shinzui: "Please calm yourself soldier. We are
not here to cause trouble."
DreaMwrite1: ((Heh that was the advisor again))
Aira Ono: "You can call me by my name Aira if you
want to talk to me!"
DreaMwrite1: "Let me introduce myself I am Lord Dayu
and this is my Advisor, Tasatsu"
DreaMwrite1: "I hope you can help my daughter"
Aira Ono: *wanders around looking for something
intresting*
DreaMwrite1: Says the old man in red robes
Tenkei Shinzui: "We shall do what we can"
DreaMwrite1: You notice a young woman in a white
kimono walk through one of the walls
Aira Ono: "hello there, hey wait stop"*looks in
disbelief*
DreaMwrite1: Then slowly walks through another wall
DreaMwrite1: She seemed to have paid no one any
attention
Aira Ono: *follows her*
DreaMwrite1: You bump into a wall Aira
Aira Ono: "ouch.."*rubs head* *looks for a door*
DreaMwrite1: You all feel a cold chill go down your
spine
DreaMwrite1: You find a door to the room she just
walked into
Aira Ono: *opens it*
Tie Di Chiang: "clearly the honored daughter herself"
DreaMwrite1: You see a body lying down on a bed in
the middle of the room which has candles lit on each corner
Aira Ono: *goes in*
DreaMwrite1: The Lord sighs "Yes"
DreaMwrite1: You hear footsteps coming toward you
from the hallway
DreaMwrite1: ((Aira roll 2D6))
Aira Ono: 6
DreaMwrite1: You feel a sudden chill as soon as you
step into the room
DreaMwrite1: And are forced to step out of it
Tenkei Shinzui: "Lord Dayu, would be so kind as to
have someone show us to your daughter's room"
DreaMwrite1: "You see this is our problem" you hear a
voice from the hallway saying
Aira Ono: "I found it its over here!"
Aira Ono: *tries to go in again*
DreaMwrite1: You hear two footsteps coming toward
you. One making a clicking sound as if it had claws.
Tenkei Shinzui: *heads to where Aira is speaking
from*
Aira Ono: *stops and looks around*
DreaMwrite1: "Yes we know that
Aira Ono: "Yasha... come here.. plz.."
DreaMwrite1: You see a man come out from the hallway
DreaMwrite1: He is dressed in decorated red robes
also
DreaMwrite1: He has short brown hair and a sad look
on his face
Aira Ono: "hello"
DreaMwrite1: "Are you the ones who will help the
dearly departed?"
Aira Ono: "maybe"
Tie Di Chiang: "that is our intent"
Tenkei Shinzui: "We shall do what we can, that is all
we can offer"
DreaMwrite1: You notice on his side is an akita(a dog
breed if ya didn't know). A large fluffy white dog.
Aira Ono: "oh a doggy, whats its name?"
DreaMwrite1: "That way may not work. Even the Lord's
bravest soldiers have not been able to enter"
DreaMwrite1: He gives a weak grin "Tanyu.."
Aira Ono: "aww"
Aira Ono: *turns back around to the door*
Tie Di Chiang: "bravery may not be a factor"
Tenkei Shinzui: *slides hand across the doorway, but
not entering it*
Aira Ono: *tries to enter again*
DreaMwrite1: ((Roll 2D6 Tenkei))
Tenkei Shinzui: *then, attempts to enter. Moving
slowly*
DreaMwrite1: You can't force yourself to enter Aira
DreaMwrite1: You shiver just thinknig about it
Tenkei Shinzui: Eek! 8
Aira Ono: (OCC or guy talking?)
DreaMwrite1: Your hand feels like it is frozen
DreaMwrite1: Heh Tenkei says "Eek!"
DreaMwrite1: ((Frozen as in very cold))
Aira Ono: *goes looking for white ghost girl*"Come

Tenkei Shinzui: "Hmmmm....interesting"
DreaMwrite1: "You see I knew they wouldn't be able to
do anything" says Tasatsu
Aira Ono: *stops*"Just wait Tasatsu, wait.."*goes on
looking around the Manor*
Aira Ono: *with Yasha following*
DreaMwrite1: "Are we without hope?" cries the young
suiter(Saburo)
Tie Di Chiang: *throws hat through doorway*
DreaMwrite1: "And we were to marry in only a few day"
Tenkei Shinzui: "There is always hope. Never forget
that"
DreaMwrite1: Your hat flies through the door and
lands next to the body
Aira Ono: *skips along looking for white ghost*"Here
ghost lady... where are you?"
DreaMwrite1: "Is this some chinese ritual? To throw
your hat at a dead woman's body?" says the advisor
Tie Di Chiang: "intriguing... what did you feel when
you attempted to pass through the doorway yourselves?"
DreaMwrite1: "The same the others must have felt"
DreaMwrite1: "Horrable fear"
DreaMwrite1: "Hhhheeeeelllpppppp mmmeeeee...." you
hear a faint voice say in the distance
Tie Di Chiang: "it would seem that it is not a
physical force"
Aira Ono: "did ya hear that yasha? lets keep looking"
DreaMwrite1: You notice Advisor Tasatsu begin to
sweat
Tie Di Chiang: "well, one more thing to try"
Tie Di Chiang: *attempts to enter room*
DreaMwrite1: You see the ghost standing in the
hallway
Aira Ono: (me or them?)
DreaMwrite1: ((Roll 2D6 Tie Di))

Aira Ono: (i thought i wasnt in there room)
DreaMwrite1: It appears that is where the voice was
coming from also
DreaMwrite1: (It's all pretty connected)
Aira Ono: *goes to white lady*"Hello"
Tenkei Shinzui: "Strange. I feel that same chill as
earlier"
DreaMwrite1: "Mmmmuuuusssstttt hhheeeellpppp...."
DreaMwrite1: It's is very faint
DreaMwrite1: She walks through another wall
Aira Ono: "hey stop!"
Aira Ono: *looks for a door going her direction*
DreaMwrite1: Tie Di Chiang you feel in intense cold
in the room
DreaMwrite1: You find a door that goes in but there
is no one inside when you open in
Aira Ono: "Come yasha"*goes in and looks around*
DreaMwrite1: "We must perform the ceremony so that
she may finally rest" says the Lord
Tie Di Chiang: "what does this ceremony involve?"
DreaMwrite1: It is an average sized room with a bed
and a bookshelf
Aira Ono: *goes over to the bed and looks around
it*"looks soft"*gets on top of it and lays down*
DreaMwrite1: "A priest must pray before her body to
help guide the spirit to the spirit world..."
DreaMwrite1: "Then we must go and bury her body after
some more prayer so that her soul may rest for all eternity"
DreaMwrite1: You lay down on the bed Aira
Tie Di Chiang: "must it be right next to the body?
could it not be performed out here in the hall?"
DreaMwrite1: It's pretty soft
DreaMwrite1: You see the ghost walk through another
wall
Aira Ono: "Oh its so soft... oh hey wait ghost
thingy...i forgot your name!"*gets up and looks where she walked through*
DreaMwrite1: "Ah her soul has been wandering the
halls ever since her untimely demise" says Saburu
DreaMwrite1: ((Saburo))
DreaMwrite1: ((Boy thats a fun word to say. Saburo))
Tenkei Shinzui: "Is she seen in any one room or place
more often than the others?"
Aira Ono: (isnt that a car name? which i woulda said
but whats a car?_
Aira Ono: )
DreaMwrite1: She normally walks down those halls...
DreaMwrite1: The Lord points over toward the hallway
where Aira had went down
DreaMwrite1: "She goes to her body and then to other
rooms down that hall"
Tenkei Shinzui: "Forgive me sir, but I cannot see in
which direction you are pointing"
Aira Ono: *points head out of door and yells down
hall*"Whos room is this im in!"*waves hands*
Aira Ono: "Down here Tenkei!"
DreaMwrite1: "That is my room young lady and I would
ask that you get out of it!" yells the Advisor Tasatsu
Aira Ono: "Oh ok im sorry"*goes in and looks around
the bookshelf*
Tie Di Chiang: "has she ever seemed to guide you to a
particular room?"
DreaMwrite1: Saburo pats his dog on the head
DreaMwrite1: It's tail wags a little
Aira Ono: *goes through all the books looking around
something with magic item in or some such thing*
DreaMwrite1: "I don't believe so...It seems to me she
is just wandering" says the Lord
Tie Di Chiang: hmm... the dog is not agitated...
DreaMwrite1: "Hey get out of there!"
Aira Ono: "Shut the door yasha and block it"
DreaMwrite1: "Quite messing with all my book!"
Aira Ono: *looks at the books*
DreaMwrite1: "Guards!"
DreaMwrite1: Yasha slams the door shut
Tenkei Shinzui: "How far does she go. Between her
room and the end, which is the last room she will travel to?"
DreaMwrite1: He easly keeps it closed
Aira Ono: *puts force field up on the door*
Aira Ono: "that should hold em"*Looks around the room
some more under the bed and in bookshelf again*
DreaMwrite1: Aira you look at all of his books and
you notice a knife behind one of them on the bookshelf
Aira Ono: *grabs the knife*
Tie Di Chiang: aikuchi or tanto?

Aira Ono: *looks at it*
DreaMwrite1: The Lord begins to cry a little
DreaMwrite1: "Please do not put such undue stress on
Lord Dayu!" yells Tasatsu
DreaMwrite1: "And tell your friend to open that
door!"
Tie Di Chiang: "it would seem that we need to find
the source of this unnatural cold"
DreaMwrite1: You look at the knife and it appears to
be stained with blood
Tenkei Shinzui: "Why does it burden him so that our
friend is in that room?"
Tie Di Chiang: "Aira, stop your silly games and come
out of there!"
DreaMwrite1: The wind gets stronger and begins to
pound on the walls outside
Aira Ono: "hmm, *looks at yasah*"didnt she die with a
knife in her?"
DreaMwrite1: It sounds like there is a downpour
outside
Aira Ono: "here hold this and dont lose it at all"
Aira Ono: *Gives it to yasha*
Aira Ono: *looks back at the bed checking under it*
DreaMwrite1: Yasha takes the knife
DreaMwrite1: You find some animal fur stuck on the
bottem of the bed
DreaMwrite1: Brown fur
Aira Ono: *takes a look at it*
Tie Di Chiang: brown...
DreaMwrite1: It appears an animal was shedding a
whole lot

Aira Ono: *goes back to book case and puts the books
back together*

Tenkei Shinzui: "She is being a child. Let her be for

Aira Ono: *puts back the books but keeps an

Tenkei Shinzui: "What harm can she do in your room
anyways?"
DreaMwrite1: Tanyu(the dog) walks up to Tenkei's
little girl and stands in front of her as if waiting to be petted
DreaMwrite1: "Go ahead he doesn't bite"
DreaMwrite1: ((Saburo is the suitor who was meant to
marry the lady who had died))
DreaMwrite1: ((Tasatsu is the advisor whose room is
being investigated by Aira))
Tenkei Shinzui: ((Heh, my mistake))
Tie Di Chiang: "is this room also the place of her
demise"
DreaMwrite1: "No of course not" says the Lord
getting his composure back
DreaMwrite1: "That is the room of my trusted
advisor"
Tie Di Chiang: "she died elsewhere and was placed in
this room?
Tenkei Shinzui: "And it was not until she was placed
here that you could no longer reach her? Interesting?
Tenkei Shinzui: ", not ?
DreaMwrite1: "She died in her room which none of you
can enter"
Tie Di Chiang: which is the room I have bene
standing next to and puzzling about
DreaMwrite1: Our priest had begun the ceremony but
the spirit had chased him out during his prayers
DreaMwrite1: "The priest must continue for her
spirit to be free"

with the ghost?"
DreaMwrite1: "Exactly"
DreaMwrite1: "She cannot hear us"
Tenkei Shinzui: "Tell me Lord Dayu, who designed
this castle?"
DreaMwrite1: "She doesn't seem to even notice us"
DreaMwrite1: "My castle has been here for 2000
years..." says the lord
DreaMwrite1: "Erhm that's 2700 your majesty..." says

DreaMwrite1: "To be exact that is..."
DreaMwrite1: "Yes, yes thank you for pointing that
out" says the Lord
DreaMwrite1: "We don't remember the name of the man
who designed it..."

Tie Di Chiang: "when did this unearthly chill
begin?"
DreaMwrite1: Tenkei's little girl continues petting
the dog
DreaMwrite1: "It happened after the preist was
chased out"
Tenkei Shinzui: "Lord Dayu, is there a place that my
daughter may rest? She need not be here while we investigate this matter"
Tie Di Chiang: "the ghost of your daughter chased
away the priest, and no one else has been able to enter the room since, yet the
ghost continues to implore aid...?"
Tenkei Shinzui: "Perhaps. Or perhaps she pleads for
aid for someone else. Somoene else who is also in danger"
Aira Ono: *the blue shield drops on the door and
Aira and Yasha appears*"Hello all sorry i took so long"
Aira Ono: *looks for white ghost*
DreaMwrite1: "Of course she may go into Tasatsu's
room if your friend will open the door..."
DreaMwrite1: "It is used as a guest room at times
anyways"
Tie Di Chiang: "what were you doing in there?"
Tenkei Shinzui: *bows* "Thank you, Lord"
Aira Ono: "I was resting on the bed and reading this
new book i found!"
Aira Ono: " Its called the Watishi Art"
DreaMwrite1: Tenkei goes into the room and Tanyu
goes back to Saburo
Aira Ono: *puts book in backpack goes off down the
hall*"Come yasha"

DreaMwrite1: A bolt of lightning goes at full speed
and smashes right into you Tie, knocking you to the ground, unable to move.(45

DreaMwrite1: A book flies at Arashi's head and just
falls to the ground. He doesn't seem to notice
Tenkei Shinzui: *Charges and draws katana (uses
magical speed)*
DreaMwrite1: ((Roll 2D6 tenkei))
Tenkei Shinzui: 3
DreaMwrite1: You slash your sword into his hand
Tenkei and it is like trying to hit a rock
DreaMwrite1: You smell a trickle of blood though
DreaMwrite1: So you are sure you hit him a little

giant gust of wind breaks through the door and knocks everyone to the ground

Tie Di Chiang: *pats smoke out of shirt, still has

would work better if we actually shared information every now and again

Tie Di Chiang: 'twas fine, other than the fact that
the characters were prevented from knowing critical info thta would would have
helped things move along much earlier

Aira Ono: well, i was pretty loud in the room
tearing down books and such. after a bit i went to private chat with Dm but i
guess he didnt let you roll or something which i dont understand why
Tie Di Chiang: blind samurai are supposed to be
inhumanly capable despite their handicap
Tenkei Shinzui: Because I need to activate the
