Demon Hunters (Season 1): Game 6
Aira Ono has entered the room.
Tie Di Chiang has entered the room.
DreaMwrite1: Hello everyone
Tie Di Chiang: howdy
Jun Nekkara: :-D
DreaMwrite1: As we last left our heroes their journey
had finally begun. After defeating the snake demon the preist had given the
group a map to find the pieces of the amulet and the preist's daughter had given
her hand in marrage to Tie.
Jun Nekkara: *has been looking a bit depressed as of
late*
DreaMwrite1: A very confused Tie I might add
DreaMwrite1: The group is currently inside the
preist's temple looking over the map and deciding on what to do next.
Tie Di Chiang: @o@
Jun Nekkara: ((I thought we had already left that
temple))
Aira Ono: we already decided what to do
Aira Ono: last game before we stopped
Jun Nekkara: ((Yup))
Aira Ono: we should be already on our way
Jun Nekkara: ((Well, Tie wasn't included on the
conversation, but that is because he had run off))
Aira Ono: but that little detail shoulda been cleared
up and assumed taken care of
DreaMwrite1: They are on their way traveling to the
next destination. One of the pieces that was not moving on the map.
Aira Ono: the one that the moving piecies isnt going
to
DreaMwrite1: The trip has been long and tiring but it
seems they are nearing the town where one of the pieces is located.
DreaMwrite1: They ride their horses toward the town
which is coming into view now.
DreaMwrite1: From what you have heard the town is
ruled over by the rich and powerful Lord Chikao.
DreaMwrite1: He has been at war with neighboring
Lords though, but is well known for being undefeated.
DreaMwrite1: The war doesn't appear to have been
brought to this town as you get closer though as people travel around the
village.
DreaMwrite1: You come up to the gates of the town
which is guarded by a couple of guards.
DreaMwrite1: "Who goes there?" calls out one of the
guards to all of you
Tie Di Chiang: "travelling holy men and child"
DreaMwrite1: "State your name and business here."
Jun Nekkara: "My name is Jun Nekkara. I am a
travelling priest. My comrades and I merely seek entrance to your fair city"
DreaMwrite1: The old soldier motions his hand to
another soldier who opens the gate.
DreaMwrite1: "You may pass, but no trouble you got
that?"
DreaMwrite1: He gives a funny look at Tie.
Tie Di Chiang: "we would not dream of casuing
trouble"
Jun Nekkara: *bows head lightly* "I understand"
DreaMwrite1: "Well are you going in or are you going
to stand there all day staring at it?"
Jun Nekkara: *heads in on horse*
DreaMwrite1: You all tread into the city which is
booming with action as merchants shout their wares and carts are pulled around
the town.
Jun Nekkara: "So where do you think we should begin
our search?"
Jun Nekkara: "This is a very large city and it could
be just about anywhere"
DreaMwrite1: On a hill ahead you see a giant palace
with two gold statues of dragons in front of it.
Aira Ono: "Probley up that way"*Points*
Jun Nekkara: *looks around to see if there are any
other large buildings*
DreaMwrite1: People hurry by you without a second
glance.
DreaMwrite1: There are no other buildings that are
comparable to the palace on the hill if that is what you mean.
Jun Nekkara: "I suspect that this is the palace of
Lord Chikao"
Jun Nekkara: ((That is exactly what I meant))
Jun Nekkara: "I do not like what that may suggest"
DreaMwrite1: There is a rather large beutiful
building on one side of the village that you notice from where you are standing
though.
DreaMwrite1: By the looks of it most likely a temple.
Jun Nekkara: "Perhaps we best ask around first. It
may do us more good than heading into the palace with nothing other than
assumptions"
Aira Ono: "Maybe artifact sellers/buyers should be
some around here"
Aira Ono: "I also would like to stay away from that..
place"
Jun Nekkara: "That too is a possibility worth
investigating"
DreaMwrite1: You notice the crowd spread out some...
DreaMwrite1: As two men dressed in samurai armor walk
toward the 5 of you.
Tie Di Chiang: 5?
Aira Ono: "maybe we should head off to the side?"
Jun Nekkara: The three of us, Yasha and Garouki
Jun Nekkara: *nods and heads off to the side*
Tie Di Chiang: ah, he was being counted as a person
DreaMwrite1: They walk up right in front of all of
you.
Aira Ono: *heads to side*
DreaMwrite1: "Are you the ones who just entered the
town?"
DreaMwrite1: "I must ask you all to lift up your
shirt sleeves."
Tie Di Chiang: "we could be described that way"
Aira Ono: *doesnt have shirt sleeves*
Jun Nekkara: *lifts up the sleeve with no arm*
Tie Di Chiang: *complies*
DreaMwrite1: "Erhm if you could lift up your other
one..."
Jun Nekkara: "Is there something that you are
searching for?"
Jun Nekkara: *lifts his arm up so the sleeve slides
down his arm* "I have no complied with your request. Perhaps you would be so
kind as to answer my question now."
DreaMwrite1: "The samurai look at Tie's shoulder as
if looking for something to be on it."
DreaMwrite1: ((Err ignore the ""))
DreaMwrite1: They then turn to look at Jun
DreaMwrite1: "Lift your shirt sleeve sir or we will
lift it for you"
Jun Nekkara: ((To me?))
Aira Ono: *kicks jun to make em hop to it*
DreaMwrite1: Yes to you Jun
Jun Nekkara: (I slide the sleeve up my arm, that is
the most I can do with one arm)
DreaMwrite1: They look it over and appear to be
satisfied.
DreaMwrite1: "You may go now."
Aira Ono: "hmmm"
Jun Nekkara: "You still have not yet answered my
question. Is there some reason you are afraid to?"
Aira Ono: *looks around*
DreaMwrite1: The two samurai turn around.
DreaMwrite1: Just noticing Yasha they ask him to also
lift his sleeves which he does and they look at both his shoulders aswell.
Jun Nekkara: "I had thought samurai were taught
better manners. I see that in these times, that they have fallen from their once
high place"
DreaMwrite1: "Goodbye."
Jun Nekkara: ((okay, now I'm ready to let it drop))
DreaMwrite1: They appear to be ignoring you Jun
Aira Ono: "Lets go Yasha, find some artifact place"
DreaMwrite1: Before the samurai begin to walk away...
Jun Nekkara: ((Uh oh))
DreaMwrite1: "If you are a mercenary band we would
like you to come to the lord's temple as soon as possable."
DreaMwrite1: Then they walk off back toward the
temple. Everyone keeping a good distance from them.
Aira Ono: *laughs*"Merc's, ha"
Jun Nekkara: "I would not consider us mercenaries.
But it may serve our purpose to attend a bit later"
DreaMwrite1: They are gone already Jun
Jun Nekkara: (Was talking to the others)
Jun Nekkara: "If the other fragment is in there, that
invitation may do us good"
Aira Ono: "I will not put myself as being a merc"
Tie Di Chiang: "I wonder what they expected to see on
our shoulders..."
Jun Nekkara: "But it is only an option for future
note. We should do all we can to find the fragment without excepting that
invitation"
Jun Nekkara: "While you search the shops Aira, I
believe I will head to the temple. They may be able to enlighten us on some
matters. We should set a time and place to meet back up"
Aira Ono: "Sounds good"
Jun Nekkara: "What do you say, we meet back in here
in 2 hours?"
Tie Di Chiang: "as good an idea as any"
Aira Ono: "Right"
Jun Nekkara: *nods, and then heads for the temple*
DreaMwrite1: ((Tie who are you going with?))
Aira Ono: *Heads to marketplace/expensive stuff area*
Jun Nekkara: ((That's what I was wondering))
Aira Ono: "Come yasha"
DreaMwrite1: ((Heh a lot of downtime here guys. Took
a while to answer)
DreaMwrite1: Yasha follows Aira as they merge into
the large crowd of people.
Tie Di Chiang: (I'll go tto the tmple for the moment)
Jun Nekkara: ((Ah, Tie, you care. How sweet))
Jun Nekkara: ((Oh, sorry)) *continues towards the
temple with Garouki*
DreaMwrite1: Jun, you and Tie get to the temple in a
few minutes. The temple is larger than you thought though no where near in size
as the palace. It is mainly colored white though it has some gold statues of
lions on the front.
Jun Nekkara: ((Fu dogs from China?))
Jun Nekkara: ((or is it Foo))
DreaMwrite1: ((Sure why not.))
Jun Nekkara: *Heads in and looks for a priest of some
sort*
DreaMwrite1: The town is a large trade center so it
is not suprising to see artwork from all around Aisa there.
Tie Di Chiang: (it's Fu )
Tie Di Chiang: (sometimes Foo in older sources, but
that romanization is widely disused nowadays)
DreaMwrite1: You see a man dressed in a long white
robe with gold trim around the wrists. He has short black hair and a friendly
smile on his face.
DreaMwrite1: "Welcome to my temple."
Jun Nekkara: *bows* "Thank you"
DreaMwrite1: His voice is very light and has a kind
tone to it.
DreaMwrite1: *bows*
DreaMwrite1: "Do you seek guidance?"
Jun Nekkara: "We have traveled long and are
unfamiliar with this city. We were hoping we could ask you a few questions?"
DreaMwrite1: "Of course. What do you wish to know?"
Jun Nekkara: "When a pair of samurai passed through
the town, everyone seemed on edge. They asked to look at our shoulders as if
seeking something. Do you have any idea of what that would be all about?"
Jun Nekkara: "I was hoping that since so many travel
here to worship, you may have a good idea of what is happening in the area, as
many priests do."
DreaMwrite1: The preist has a troubled look on his
face.
Jun Nekkara: *looks at him curiously* "Are you okay?
It looks as if something is bothering you?"
DreaMwrite1: "I can not say as I was asked by the
great Lord Chikao not to."
Jun Nekkara: *turns and looks out the temple doors
(or a window) at the palace* "I see"
Jun Nekkara: *then turns back to the priest*
DreaMwrite1: "I am so sorry."
DreaMwrite1: "Is there anything else I can do for
you?"
Jun Nekkara: "Perhaps. But first I wish to do some
praying to cleanse my spirit"
Aira Ono: (*waits for turn*)
Jun Nekkara: *looks around the temple and finds
himself once again missing his home*
Jun Nekkara: *goes to pray for a bit*
DreaMwrite1: The preist prays next to you.
Jun Nekkara: *appears slightly saddened still*
DreaMwrite1: "Oh and by the way my name is Eisen."
Jun Nekkara: *says in a low tone, barely audible*
"Why can I rid myself of these worries?"
DreaMwrite1: "Be at peace my child."
Jun Nekkara: *he looks over to the priest* "My name
is Jun. I am pleased to meet you"
Jun Nekkara: ((Oops, typo earlier. It was supposed to
say, "Why can I not rid...))
Jun Nekkara: *continues to pray until it is close to
time that we must leave to meet Aira*
DreaMwrite1: Eisen bows to you again then begins to
pray silently himself.
DreaMwrite1: Tie you just stand there watching
DreaMwrite1: After about an hour or so Aira enters
the temple looking a bit disapointed.
Tie Di Chiang: (what religion is this temple anyway?)
Jun Nekkara: *sighs and says to self* "I am
distracted to easily" *looks to see who has just entered the temple*
DreaMwrite1: (Why must you torment me Tie?)
Jun Nekkara: ((Its a temple for worshipping, it
doesn't need a religion))
Tie Di Chiang: ( :-D )
DreaMwrite1: Jun you turn around and notice Aira
yourself.
Aira Ono: *mumbles something*
Tie Di Chiang: (asian cultures aren't really heavy on
the worshipful side)
Jun Nekkara: "Aira, I take it your search did not
turn out well"
Jun Nekkara: ((Is Yasha with her?))
Aira Ono: "That and the smell of this place is
terrible,*mumbles something else*"
DreaMwrite1: Yasha is always with her
Jun Nekkara: ((Heh, just making sure))
Tie Di Chiang: (she doesn't go anywhere without
Steiner, er, Yasha)
DreaMwrite1: ((Heh I think when Asia is overrun with
demons they may seek to be worshipful)
Jun Nekkara: ((Steiner? Where is that a reference
too?))
Tie Di Chiang: (they have shrines and temples, but
they don't actively pray to gods like western societies, they merely pay homag
to local spirits, meditate, etc., and if Buddhists or Taoists, they don't even
have gods)
DreaMwrite1: You are all standing there staring at
eachother.
Tie Di Chiang: (Final Fantasy 9)
Aira Ono: *goes outside for fresh air*
DreaMwrite1: (ok Tie then they are meditating.)
DreaMwrite1: The Preist Eisen continues to meditate.
Jun Nekkara: ((Basically the same thing I was going
for anyways))
Tie Di Chiang: (thus, I was just wondering what sort
of temple it was... )
DreaMwrite1: ((Can we please go back to the game?))
Jun Nekkara: *begins to walk out after Aira, then
pauses*
DreaMwrite1: Aira you exit the temple. The sun
appears to be setting soon.
Jun Nekkara: "Eisen, forgive me for interupting your
....(meditation)..., but can I ask you one last question?"
Aira Ono: "Ahh fresh air, smells much better out
here, eh Yasha?"
DreaMwrite1: He opens his eyes and gets back to his
feet.
DreaMwrite1: "Yes?"
Jun Nekkara: "I have a friend that has been looking
for a particular artifact. It is (describes the scar on Aira's hand). Have you
seen it such an item?"
DreaMwrite1: "Hmm the Lord has an amazing treasury
known throughout Japan. He may possess something along those lines."
Jun Nekkara: *doesn't do it noticably (if so, will
wait until we are almost outside), but does sniff the air to see if he can
detect any strange odors in the air*
DreaMwrite1: What kind of odor Jun?
Aira Ono: (do i notice what jun does?)
Jun Nekkara: ((Aira said it smelled funny in there. I
was wondering what she smelled))
DreaMwrite1: You smell incense but that is about it.
Tie Di Chiang: (it smells like old guys in robes)
Jun Nekkara: Okay
Jun Nekkara: ((*smacks Tie*))
DreaMwrite1: You all exit the temple.
Aira Ono: "So what did you guys find out"
Jun Nekkara: "Not much I'm afraid"
Aira Ono: "This place is terrible"
Jun Nekkara: "I fear that to get the answers we seek,
we must go into the temple of Lord Chikao"
Aira Ono: "If anything this Lord guy is already
inleague with the Demon"
Jun Nekkara: "And what would lead you to that
conclusion young Aira?"
Aira Ono: "Warring with neighbors? Pretty well off
etc etc, Demon has probley offered em something start trouble and such"
Jun Nekkara: "I more so wonder if the artifact itself
may be having an effect on him"
Jun Nekkara: "We know so very little about it. Who
knows what types of effects it can have on people?"
Aira Ono: *laughs*
Aira Ono: *heads toward lord chikaos palace*
Jun Nekkara: *follows as he suspects that the answers
will be inside*
DreaMwrite1: You all head toward the giant palace of
Lord Chikao.
Aira Ono: "Maybe he compensating for something else
huh?"*indicating the size of the palace*
DreaMwrite1: :-D
Tie Di Chiang: (if it was a pagoda maybe)
Jun Nekkara: *such a vulgar joke goes unnoticed*
Aira Ono: (vulgar? laugh)
Tie Di Chiang: (in fact, the massive pagodas of
Thailand really were created for that reason as a symbol of the imperial
fertility cult...)
Aira Ono: (who cares, DM hurry up and type something
your slow and need typing lessons)
Tie Di Chiang: (fun fact #278 :-D )
DreaMwrite1: You get up to the temple which has two
guards watching it on either side.
Aira Ono: *motions for Jun to get up front and start
trying to getinside*
DreaMwrite1: "Who goes there?"
Aira Ono: *looks around for other entrances*
DreaMwrite1: The soldiers point their yari toward you
Jun Nekkara: "My name is Jun Nekkara"
DreaMwrite1: There are none Aira
DreaMwrite1: The palace is very well guarded with
many patrols
Jun Nekkara: "Your Lord said that he may wish to see
us"
DreaMwrite1: Guards surounded the palace and are
about a foot away from eachother
DreaMwrite1: There are archers along the roof aswell.
Arrows ready
Jun Nekkara: ((Not a comforting feeling))
Aira Ono: "Pretty paraniod isnt he?"
DreaMwrite1: You hear one of the samurai inside say
"Let them in"
Aira Ono: *continues to glace around*
Jun Nekkara: "Are you sure you mustn't check our
shoulders again brave samurai"
DreaMwrite1: The doors open and you see the two
samurai. "I suggested that he put more but he refuses to use anymore of his
men."
DreaMwrite1: "Come."
Aira Ono: *glares at jun*
DreaMwrite1: The two samurai begin to walk into
another room inside
Jun Nekkara: *heads in and prepares to follow*
Aira Ono: *skips ahead*
DreaMwrite1: Aira and Jun both walk in and are led
into a large throne room(Do Japanese lords have throne rooms?) with a middle
aged man in golden silk robes sitting down on a solid gold chair.
DreaMwrite1: He has two guards standing next to him
who are heavly armored
DreaMwrite1: He waves a hand at you.
DreaMwrite1: To come in.
DreaMwrite1: The samurai walk in and stand on either
side of him.
Aira Ono: *sighs*
Jun Nekkara: *looks around (surveying the room), then
walks in*
DreaMwrite1: "Welcome. You are mercenaries I assume?"
Aira Ono: *grumbles*
DreaMwrite1: Says the Lord Chikao
Jun Nekkara: ((Hmmm....I noticed you said Aira and
Jun are led there. What about Tie? Is he still with us?))
Tie Di Chiang: (I am like the wind)
DreaMwrite1: "Before I tell you what I require of you
first I wish for you to swear that you agree. I will give you a pick of anything
in my treasure room as a reward."
Jun Nekkara: "I would not consider myself a mercenary
Lord. I am but a humble priest"
Aira Ono: "And im a little girl.... little girl
looking for something"
DreaMwrite1: The Lord sighs
DreaMwrite1: He appears very tired.
Jun Nekkara: "I cannot swear to agree upon something
which I do not know what is"
DreaMwrite1: "I am truly desprate now it seems."
Jun Nekkara: "I will not betray my beliefs. Not for
anyone"
DreaMwrite1: "Let me explain the situation."
Aira Ono: *motions for jun to shut up*
DreaMwrite1: "A ninja has been sent to kill me."
Jun Nekkara: ((Aira is lucky that I want to hear the
explanation))
Aira Ono: (sure i am)
DreaMwrite1: "Not just any ninja."
Aira Ono: *mudders "Isnt surprising"*
Aira Ono: (mutters)
DreaMwrite1: "It is Kaishi...Master of
the...the...the Dim Mak."
DreaMwrite1: There is a gasp in the room.
DreaMwrite1: You notice the two samurai shutter for a
moment at the word.
Aira Ono: *laughs and wonders and sez louder*"Dim
Mak!"
Jun Nekkara: ((Dim Mak, that's Chinese I think. I
ahve no clue what that means))
DreaMwrite1: "Do not speak so lightly of such things
child."
Aira Ono: *sighs wanting to see them all gasp*
DreaMwrite1: "The Dim Mak is a deadly technique known
by very few people."
Tie Di Chiang: (it's chinese, but I don't know what
the japanese name is)
DreaMwrite1: "We believe he is the only ninja that
knows this technique and he has been named Kaishi."
Tie Di Chiang: "the forbidden Touch of Death..."
DreaMwrite1: "The Dim Mak drains the life from
whoever is attacked by it. No one survives the technique."
Aira Ono: "And what do we get?"
DreaMwrite1: "As I said anything from my treasury. If
you can stop him that is."
Jun Nekkara: "And so you wish us to protect you"
DreaMwrite1: "It is doubtful I would survive him even
with all the soldiers in Japan..."
Jun Nekkara: "I accept your offer"
Aira Ono: "No you didnt say that... and can we take
alook at your treasury first?"
Jun Nekkara: "To protect others is my sacred duty. I
can not turn my back on one in need"
Aira Ono: *motions to jun*"We can if this stops us
from doing what is our OTHER job"
Jun Nekkara: "However, in return for my services. I
ask that you make peace with your neighbors"
DreaMwrite1: "It is believed that this man was hired
by an opposing lord. If you can somehow kill the lord or find the Chunin, the
one who deals with 'customers' you may be able to stop him."
DreaMwrite1: "I cannot afford to use any of my
soldiers to do this as they must protect me not to mention make the ninja
suspicious and try to kill me imediatly..."
Aira Ono: "Shut up jun... we really dont want that"
DreaMwrite1: The Lord looks at the little girl. "She
is right in that you don't young preist. What she does not understand is that I
have riches that rival the Emperor himself!"
Jun Nekkara: "Aira, one day you will hopefully learn.
That it does not matter how many people you save if you allow others to suffer
on account of it"
DreaMwrite1: "Simply to behold them is a blessing."
Aira Ono: "Oh so we help this guy*motions to the guy*
and then let the world be taken over by others?"
Jun Nekkara: "No, but there are always other options"
Aira Ono: *looks back at the lord guy*"and i dont
care about your stupid wealth either"
DreaMwrite1: One of the samurai draws his sword
DreaMwrite1: "Do not speak of the Lord so lightly!"
Aira Ono: (yasha should react accourdingly?)
DreaMwrite1: Yasha draws his sword and stands in
front of Aira
DreaMwrite1: Two doors on either side of the Lord's
throne slide open to reveal two archers, both pointing their arrows toward
Yasha's heart
Aira Ono: "Look we are looking for something more
important"
Jun Nekkara: *tries to stand between Yasha and the
samurai* "Please, sheath your swords. We do not wish for blood shed"
Aira Ono: *walks to the lord guy and shows palm*"Do
you have this or pieces of this or antying that looks ilke it?"
DreaMwrite1: "This is pointless." the Lord waves his
hand and the doors close, the samurai shealth their swords. Yasha follows and
sheathes his aswell.
DreaMwrite1: "Yes I believe I have a piece like that.
One of my many treasures."
Aira Ono: "I want to see it"
DreaMwrite1: "Do you doubt me child?"
Aira Ono: "Yes"
DreaMwrite1: The samurai draw their swords again
Jun Nekkara: *sighs* "This is getting us nowhere"
DreaMwrite1: "You insult Lord Chikao's honor!"
Aira Ono: "This guy is a waste of our time he has
nothing we are leaving yasha"
DreaMwrite1: "Someone get this foolish child out of
here."
Aira Ono: *leaves*
Jun Nekkara: "Aira, please calm down and chose your
words more carefully in the future"
DreaMwrite1: Yasha and Aira walk out of the Lord's
palace with guards keeping a careful eye on her.
DreaMwrite1: "Now that the child is gone we may get
on to business."
Aira Ono: *before leaving the lords sight*"I guess
your good as dead with the ninja guy eh?"
Aira Ono: *then leaves*
Jun Nekkara: "Children can sometimes be impetious
Lord. I apologize. But please bear her no ill will"
DreaMwrite1: "We believe the ninja chunin is most
likely located in a nearby village. He would most likely be an inkeeper or
serving drinks. We do not know exactly..."
Jun Nekkara: "And how would you expect us to be able
to find this chunin then?"
DreaMwrite1: "You may try to find the ninja who has
been sent to kill me but it is doubtful you will find him. We have searched all
the townspeople and none of them bear his tatoo."
DreaMwrite1: "He will be attacking before the
sunrise. That is all that we know."
Jun Nekkara: *looks at his shoulder* "So that is what
this was all about"
DreaMwrite1: "All that is known of him is that he
bears a tatoo of a black snake on his shoulder."
DreaMwrite1: "He moves with such agility we are not
even sure which side it is on."
Jun Nekkara: "Before sunrise? Then I fear we do not
have nearly enough time to find this Chunin"
DreaMwrite1: ((Sun hasn't yet set so you have all
night ;-) ))
Jun Nekkara: (I thought it already set at the temple)
DreaMwrite1: ((It was setting))
Jun Nekkara: ((And before sunrise means before.
Not too mention we don't know which town, nor who))
DreaMwrite1: ((Wake up people))
DreaMwrite1: ((Tie you there?))
Jun Nekkara: ((It was setting when we walked to the
palace, walked around inside, and talked to the Lord. Wake up, its had to set by
now))
DreaMwrite1: ((You havn't said a word the whole time
you have been in the throne room))
DreaMwrite1: The sun has just set
DreaMwrite1: The palace is lit by lamps.
DreaMwrite1: "You must hurry."
Aira Ono: (i would talk but i know DM wont let me do
anything other than do nothing)
DreaMwrite1: You see the Preist, Eisen, walk into the
throne room.
DreaMwrite1: "Ah it is good to see you Eisen please
come in."

DreaMwrite1: One of the samurai walks up to you Jun
and leads you to the treasury. It is fulll of bright golden artifacts. One that
is on a pedistal appears to be a glowing stone with part of the marking from the
mark on Aira's hand...

Jun Nekkara: *bows* "Thank you Lord"
Jun Nekkara: "We will travel with great speed"
DreaMwrite1: You are led out of the palace to where
Aira is standing there with Yasha
DreaMwrite1: The sun now set it is very dark outside
DreaMwrite1: A light breeze blows your hair back

searching for. He does indeed have it among his treasures"

now though it appears they are resting.

longer moving
DreaMwrite1: You head toward the village which is an
hours distance.
Tie Di Chiang: "I wonder, how they can reliably say
when the assassin will strike... no assassin worth his repuation would move the
way people know he would..."
DreaMwrite1: The moon is full and you see the bright
lights of the village still.

Death Touch of Dian Xue, he is a truly dangerous opponent, more dangerous than

bright lights. You notice a larger building standing out from the rest.
DreaMwrite1: You enter and it seems to be a bustling
little town even at night.
DreaMwrite1: Horses are tied out in front of the
larger building which you now reconize as an inn or bar most likely

probably have an easier time protecting the Lord as opposed to trying to do all

DreaMwrite1: Behind a table is a guy serving drinks
to people. He appears rather friendly though still a big guy. He is wearing a
red robe and has a smile on his face.
DreaMwrite1: The bar becomes silent when Aira enters
the place.
Aira Ono: *laughs*
DreaMwrite1: They all stare at her. Suprised and
confused looks on their faces.

reveal a black karate outfit.

DreaMwrite1: With all but the Lord still standing
behind him the what is now obviously the ninja gets into an upright stance with
legs together, one arm up, the other at the waist, and both hands held loosly
with the forefinger pointing.
DreaMwrite1: "Come at me then."
Tie Di Chiang: (look out, it's Ashida Kim!)
DreaMwrite1: You are all in the throne room since
I'm assuming here you didn't enter the palace looking for the bathroom
Aira Ono: *looks for the treasure room*
Jun Nekkara: "Garouki, be very careful. I am unsure
if his attack may harm you"
DreaMwrite1: Roll 2D6 Aira to see if you escape
unnoticed

DreaMwrite1: Aira carefully sneaks out of the throne
room and goes into the treasure room
Aira Ono: *looks for the prize of the night*
Jun Nekkara: "Okay, we must do this very carefully"
DreaMwrite1: "The most careful have still fallen to

Jun Nekkara: "I am sure they have ninja"
DreaMwrite1: "Now that you have seen my face I

Jun Nekkara: *says softly to the others, hoping the
ninja won't hear me* "Fan out. Wait for him to attack one. Then the other two
attack while he is unguarded"
DreaMwrite1: "Make your last prayers. Be quick about
it the sun is rising and I have another to kill after you."
Aira Ono: *seems like forever to pick up the
artfact*
Jun Nekkara: "Whoever he attacks just stay extra
cautious to avoid his attack"
DreaMwrite1: ((It is a really big treasure room

Jun Nekkara: "Perhaps I can draw his attention"
DreaMwrite1: "Those are rather futile prayers but if
that is your decision..."
DreaMwrite1: Kaishi runs at you Jun with his index

Jun Nekkara: *leaps back and to the side (opposite
of his attack hand), trying to gain as much distance between us*

DreaMwrite1: Jun there isn't anything to grab except
the dead soldier at your feet

DreaMwrite1: He makes his deadly strike right at you

DreaMwrite1: Will his Binding Circle stop the ninja
in his tracks?
Aira Ono: (yes if you just let the game play out for
another half an hour)

DreaMwrite1: Yes it does stop the evil ninja in his
tracks

DreaMwrite1: A look of fury in his eyes
Jun Nekkara: *heh, my heart still stops for a brief
moment (even though it didn't hit)*
DreaMwrite1: "Quickly run him through before he
recovers!"

Jun Nekkara: *there is a look of fear in his eyes
that has not been there before. He simply stands there motionless at first*
Tie Di Chiang: I'll leap over there and nail him
with the emperor dragon fist
DreaMwrite1: "Quickly if he comes to he will kill us

out of it as he looks down at the ninja*

right into the ninja. Lightning bolts begin to surround his body in miliseconds
and a moment later all that is there is dust.
Jun Nekkara: *looks as he was about to say
something. Then sees the dust and stops*

in the treasury

DreaMwrite1: ((And it is all your fault too Jun!))
DreaMwrite1: Garouki looks at you Jun with his head
turned.

DreaMwrite1: ((Heh Garouki burps out a piece of your

and I'm guessing grab the piece of the amulet

Tie Di Chiang: (and the fact that Japanese ninja are
using the techniques of Chine Tien Hsueh doesn't bode well either)

Tie Di Chiang: I also learned that you can do nearly
half your own health in damage to ninjas, and it will only singe them slightly

DreaMwrite1: Hmm I learned today that you guys can
kick the ass of a normal human rather easly

Jun Nekkara: Well, we were designed to fight demons

restriction)
DreaMwrite1: It cracked me up

a rule if I killed this SOB"
Tie Di Chiang: (well, not if I killed him but if I
attacked him while he was on the ground incapacitated)
DreaMwrite1: Well that was a fun game everybody

his sleep

Tie Di Chiang: unless he was drunk

incapacitated completely is okay

Tie Di Chiang: one would be taking advantage of a
preexisting weakness, the other is simply continuing the attack I had already
made for the eradication of evil
Tie Di Chiang: one of those obligation vs.
restriction things
