(16:26:08) ChatBot: lady_coldstrife enters the channel.

(16:26:13) ChatBot: Prysus enters the channel.

(16:26:17) ChatBot: lady_coldstrife is now known as (PC)_Trent).

(16:26:24) ChatBot: Prysus is now known as ((GM)_Prysus).

(16:28:14) (PC)_Trent): Last I remember I was off following a hidden character with Sky and we had just heard a scream. :-?

(16:28:42) ((GM)_Prysus): Hmm ...

(16:31:05) ((GM)_Prysus): And okay ...

(16:33:03) ((GM)_Prysus): The group last followed Aerial Charity (her name not revealed yet in game, just that Trent recognizes her from game play). There they found a large monster attacking the community they had just entered. Aerial, the dove, was trying to treat some of the injured, apparently not detoured even despite all the chaos going on around her.

(16:33:24) ((GM)_Prysus): I'm going to ask for Initiative, and then for you to please wait until I type some more before deciding the action.

(16:33:42) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (6)+1=7.

(16:33:44) ((GM)_Prysus): Sky, Holiday, and monster ...

(16:33:49) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 3d20 and gets (20,1,1)=22.

(16:34:33) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 2d20 and gets (12,2)=14.

(16:34:44) ((GM)_Prysus): Typing ...

(16:50:14) ((GM)_Prysus): The monster's attention shifts to them as they come in range. Trent recognizes the start of the battle mode starting. Its graphics are so seemless from one to the next that all of it looks of the same amazing quality. Without so much as a word actually being spoken Trent suddenly gets a feel for the plan, what he's supposed to do as the player selected his attack options. The current plan is for Sky to take the front action. She is one of the best melee fighters in the game, her dodge rating only surpassed by that of Aerial Charity (who isn't good at attacking) and Teal Coldheart who is not currently present. Teal is the strongest melee fighter, but lacks in other categories while Sky is more flexible.

(16:50:18) ((GM)_Prysus): Meanwhile, the battle action is for Holiday is to stay further back and attack from ranged using his guns. Trent in the meantime is supposed to move to the side of the monster while Sky continues to draw its attention and then flank it. This helps him to attack and makes him a less likely target, but puts Sky in the greatest degree of danger (as it's primary target due to range). Of course, one of the feature of the game is that the other characters have their individual minds and don't always follow the orders of the player. It adds an interesting feature to the game, making the NPC (which Trent is right now) more like real people who can act as they see fit. Though, as a player, Trent also knows how annoying that can be. Sometimes it helps, a lot of time it just hurts because you needed the NPC to do that action for some particular reason or plan. Sky leaps forward. Even though the creature is over 20 feet tall she leaps into the air slashing deep into its chest with her sword. It's Trent's move.

(16:53:14) (PC)_Trent): *decides to play along for now, wondering who is the player of this game. Moves to the side of the monster to flank it, but stays alert as to how badly hurt Sky gets. Slashes at a the side of a foot of the massive creature, a quick dart and attack, then moves back.*

(16:54:05) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (1)+8=9.

(16:54:47) (PC)_Trent):

(16:56:27) ((GM)_Prysus): As the creature moves back the ground shakes right as Trent is about to attack. The trembling causes Trent to loose balance and hit the ground. In the game, he did just become a part of the group, and sometimes that does cause them to be weaker when they first start off. Usually though their advancement rate is accelerated for the first few levels allowing them to catch up quickly before leveling off. After a few battles he should be more on par with the others.

(16:58:51) ((GM)_Prysus): Holiday, Monster, Monster, Sky, Sky, Monster ...

(16:58:54) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 6d20 and gets (15,8,13,3,1,10)=50.

(16:59:28) (PC)_Trent):

(17:00:24) ((GM)_Prysus): Typing ...

(17:04:48) ((GM)_Prysus): Holiday fires a few shots hitting the monster for more damage. Sky goes in for another attack. However, when she gets in close the monster slams its hands down knocking her into the ground. Some monsters in the game are able to be hurt by anything, others only by certain types of attacks (such as melee, range, special, etc.), and then there are some who are very adaptable. While it is possible to hurt them with the same attack again, it's not nearly as likely to succeed. It could have been a coincidence, but from the look of things one would have to say this is an adaptable type. If the player is any good, tactics should be changing soon. However, the game doesn't pause to let you change your moves, the action continues regardless and that means there will be some time before new commands can be entered (though Trent has yet to get an attack yet).

(17:06:13) (PC)_Trent): "Change tactics each action! This sucker is adaptable!" *moves in for a slash at the hands*

(17:06:18) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (5)+8=13.

(17:08:57) ((GM)_Prysus): Monster (and I'm not including its bonuses).

(17:08:59) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (16)=16.

(17:09:24) (PC)_Trent): (yep. Trent is suffering from level 1 NPC suckiness )

(17:09:28) ((GM)_Prysus): I'll roll the rest and then type ...

(17:09:36) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 6d20 and gets (6,19,9,9,14,10)=67.

(17:19:29) ((GM)_Prysus): Holiday tries to fire off a few shots but the monster moves again. It won't be taken by that tactic again either. It goes to step on top of Sky who quickly dodges back. Actions are changed. Both Trent and Holiday are set for quick follow up attacks. "Quick" attacks are done faster, but tend to lack power and some accuracy. They are typically best when done in a combo. Sky puts her sword on her back and holds out a hand in front of her. Suddenly a series of fireballs are unleashed into the monster knocking it back and onto the ground, prone to attack. The fireballs, an ability gained from the Fire Stone. Clearly this isn't the start of the game, and Sky (the main character, which is clear by the type of game play) is likely a fairly high level at this point. It's only one of several stones gained within the game, but getting even the first isn't that easy. The fire isn't a character technique, but a technique of the stone itself, power it possesses and can be utilized by whichever character has it equipped.

(17:19:54) ((GM)_Prysus): ((Important to note: The stones are not considered magic. Their origins will be discussed later in the game.))

(17:22:04) ((GM)_Prysus): There are no strike bonuses to a quick attack, but if followed up in a combo (or on a prone opponent) they can't be dodged.

(17:22:31) (PC)_Trent): *attacks for the underbelly area quickly*

(17:22:34) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (6)=6.

(17:23:22) ((GM)_Prysus): Holiday ...

(17:23:23) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (10)=10.

(17:27:26) ((GM)_Prysus): Trent and Holiday remain set on quick attacks. If the first hit (the one Sky performs) fails, they are to take defense (they get defense bonuses, but can't attack).

(17:28:12) ((GM)_Prysus): Monster, Sky, Sky, Monster ...

(17:28:17) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 4d20 and gets (19,18,15,18)=70.

(17:34:05) ((GM)_Prysus): The monster attacks Sky again, she barely is able to dodge out of the way. Both of them move with amazing speeds, and it's hard to imagine being able to keep up with either. It is not just adapting in defense, but in ways to attack. However, it is adapting to Sky, and hopefully that means if it attacks others they won't simply be overwhelmed by the increased power. Sky stabs her sword into the groud. Ripples of fire streak along towards the monster. Decent tactic, and it's keeping things changing. Somehow the monster still dodges! This is definitely getting tougher. Trent's instincts are to stay back and keep defensive instead of rushing in with a quick attack now that Sky's attack missed. This will help him avoid attack, and as long as he doesn't attack he won't risk a counter strike.

(17:37:02) (PC)_Trent): *goes in and past the monster, and tries to attack it from the backside*

(17:37:07) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (20)+8=28.

(17:37:32) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (7)=7.

(17:40:37) ((GM)_Prysus): Monster, Sky ...

(17:40:40) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 2d20 and gets (12,14)=26.

(17:44:30) ((GM)_Prysus): Trent manages to hit the monster in the back with his sword. It looks like a good hit, a critical for damage rating. Of course, his damage rating is still first level at the moment. Meanwhile, the monster attacks Sky again who manages to dodge again. This time she doesn't attack though and appears to be waiting in defense mode. Trent's turn.

(17:45:40) (PC)_Trent): oO(Weakness, weakness, everything has a weakness. What's yours?) *goes for a power attack in the back*

(17:45:48) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (9)+8=17.

(17:45:57) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (1)=1.

(17:46:17) (PC)_Trent): "The back! This thing is vulnerable to attacks on the back!"

(17:46:41) ((GM)_Prysus): ((Actually, it's already dodged back attacks. ))

(17:47:01) (PC)_Trent): (okay, it's vulnerable to Trent's back attacks =)) )

(17:47:14) ((GM)_Prysus): ((He's failed two, and passed two.))

(17:48:48) ((GM)_Prysus): Meanwhile, the creature is going to try and grab Trent up in its massive hands.

(17:49:01) (PC)_Trent): *attempts to dodge*

(17:49:05) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (15)+8=23.

(17:49:06) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (5)+6=11.

(17:51:15) ((GM)_Prysus): Trent manages to get out of the way. Meanwhile, neither Sky or Holiday have taken action, both are still in defense mode for the time being. Trent's turn.

(17:51:24) (PC)_Trent): "Hey... since he's facing this way, you two have access to it's hind side! Make it count!"

(17:51:45) ((GM)_Prysus): And never said it turned its back on them. There is always sideways.

(17:52:07) (PC)_Trent): ah. scratch that then

(17:52:56) (PC)_Trent): will try for a trip attack.

(17:53:06) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (2)+5=7.

(17:53:17) (PC)_Trent): (okay, unlikely to work )

(17:53:23) (PC)_Trent): (but it could roll another 1 :-? )

(17:53:33) ((GM)_Prysus): I'm not going to even roll that one, because Trent's little body isn't going to come close to tripping a 20 foot monster.

(17:54:50) ((GM)_Prysus): And the creature is going to try and slam Trent into the ground with its massive hand.

(17:54:54) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (8)+7=15.

(17:56:08) (PC)_Trent): *attempts to dodge*

(17:56:11) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (5)+8=13.

(17:56:21) (PC)_Trent): oO(Ouch >_< )

(17:58:51) ((GM)_Prysus): The instinct telling Trent to stay defensive (which he has ignored so far) is now telling to run ... or that is to say that whoever is playing wants Trent to run. Of course, running from the battle will mean that he won't get any experience for it.

(18:00:01) (PC)_Trent): (all three of them running, or just him?)

(18:00:11) ((GM)_Prysus): Just Trent.

(18:01:36) (PC)_Trent): oO(I wonder who is playing? Possibly Noria... or Galgrave with Noria looking over his shoulder if they want me to run.) *switches tactics and goes full defensive, quickly moving behind Sky and Holiday, in the back where he is a little less vulnerable.*

(18:01:54) (PC)_Trent): oO(Or maybe nobody is playing at all? And it's just the simulation running? >_< )

(18:03:19) ((GM)_Prysus): Does that mean Trent still isn't going to run? Because, I guess I didn't say it, but it's more escape from battle. It is possible to protect Trent from the damage he just took, but then again it's the command an annoyed player may give to the NPC who has been pissing him off.

(18:06:44) (PC)_Trent): right. Trent isn't going to run. He's not escaping from battle, but he's going to defensive now.

(18:07:05) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d3 and gets (3)=3.

(18:07:16) ((GM)_Prysus): The monster is going to attack Trent again ...

(18:07:20) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (20)+8=28.

(18:07:34) (PC)_Trent):

(18:07:38) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (18)=18.

(18:07:57) ((GM)_Prysus): Out of curiosity, is that a critical for you?

(18:08:12) (PC)_Trent): (was just about to type no. stupid H2H basic. )

(18:11:08) ((GM)_Prysus): And ... at this point I'm going to let you roll a die (not a D1) to determine your luck. Which type of die to you feel luckiest with?

(18:11:53) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (13)=13.

(18:12:08) (PC)_Trent): (d20 usually :-? )

(18:12:25) (PC)_Trent): (well, at least it wasn't a 1 )

(18:14:56) ((GM)_Prysus): Trent takes the force of the blow. He manages to pick himself back up, but he's in bad shape. If he were looking on the other side of the screen right now he'd see a red flashing light on his name indicating he's about to die. The fact he was in defensive mode was the only thing that saved his life this time, but he's still in very bad shape (equivalent of 1 HP). It's definitely a powerful monster, and at his still low level he can't take many hits.

(18:17:43) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 4d20 and gets (5,11,7,1)=24.

(18:18:14) ((GM)_Prysus): Typing ...

(18:24:40) ((GM)_Prysus): Now that Trent is behind them Sky throws her sword at the monster's head. It goes spinning through the air, and it again avoids the attack by moving its head. As it moves, so has Sky. With a massive burst of speed she zips in, moving behind it and into the air, catching the sword high up in the air. The sword suddenly bursts into the flames, tapping into the power of the Fire Stone once again, as she comes down, slashig along its body until her sword hits the ground into a massive explosion. Had Trent been in melee range of the monster when she did that he would have been caught in the blast radius of the explosion, which may have actually killed him on its own. The move was a combination of her Special Technique (the sword throw/catch/slash, the sword throw can connect, but in this case it didn't) and the Fire Stone ability. It's Trent's move. It is in a position for a quick strike, but it would mean exiting Defensive mode (which provides bonuses to dodge).

(18:25:01) ((GM)_Prysus): ((For note: As Trent levels in the game he will be getting special techniques of his own. He just hasn't leveled yet. ))

(18:26:22) (PC)_Trent): *stays defensive.* oO(My pride hurts, but I'm going to stay defensive. I don't know what will happen if I die here. >_< )

(18:28:49) ((GM)_Prysus): Holiday will go for the quick attack.

(18:28:51) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (16)=16.

(18:33:50) ((GM)_Prysus): With the combination of moves, the two are able to finish it off, causing the monster to melt into the ground.

(18:35:02) ((GM)_Prysus): After the battle Aerial Charity approaches, "You're injured! Come back to my shop and I can help heal you." *She sounds worried, and wanting to help.*

(18:35:31) (PC)_Trent): "Thanks. I'm... um... not a very good fighter. >_< yet."

(18:35:41) (PC)_Trent): "I'm Trent."

(18:37:26) ((GM)_Prysus): The dove introduces herself. "Aerial Charity." If someone is playing this game, they appear to be going with mostly the generic/default names. Right now the only one who varies is Trent.

(18:39:21) (PC)_Trent): "A pleasure to meet you."

(18:39:22) ((GM)_Prysus): And yes, Trent probably leveled after the fight, but he's not quite high enough to develop special techniques yet. However, he'll be able to deal more and take more damage now, also more likely to hit and/or dodge.

(18:39:57) (PC)_Trent): "You're a healer? That's cool. I'm a mechanic and pilot."

(18:40:16) (PC)_Trent): *follows her to the shop*

(18:40:24) (PC)_Trent): *and tries to chat along the way*

(18:41:18) ((GM)_Prysus): Sky, "We don't have much money to pay you." *With kind of a shrug, like she doesn't know what to say about it.* Aerial, "That's okay. You helped save us, it's the least I can do. "

(18:43:24) ((GM)_Prysus): And how much do you want to get into the meeting and small talk, or keep it moving towards the advancement of the story for now?

(18:44:44) (PC)_Trent): we can keep it moving. Basically wanted to point out he'd be talking while he's walking, not holding it up, but not ignoring her either. :-?

(18:44:58) (PC)_Trent): though I'm curious as to her response

(18:45:27) ((GM)_Prysus): ((That's fine. Just wanted to be sure. To which part? Him identifying himself as a mechanic?))

(18:46:28) (PC)_Trent): (to Sky's question )

(18:46:56) ((GM)_Prysus):

(18:47:13) ((GM)_Prysus): You do see she responded to Sky's comment in the same post, right?

(18:47:19) (PC)_Trent): (OH! nevermind >_< )

(18:47:20) ((GM)_Prysus): Or am I missing something else?

(18:47:27) (PC)_Trent): (for some reason I missed the second line )

(18:47:45) ((GM)_Prysus): ((Ah, okay. That's okay, just was confusing was all. It's okay now. ))

(18:48:03) (PC)_Trent): *goes to Aerial's shop*

(18:48:28) (PC)_Trent): oO(I wonder how I can communicate with the player? If there is one? :-? )

(18:49:18) (PC)_Trent): oO(They could have just quickly pressed enter at the dialogue box. But they could have also used their real names or code words to communicate if they wanted to. :-? )

(18:54:27) ((GM)_Prysus): As Aerial patches up Trent. Sky, "Sorry about almost hitting you earlier. We were heading for Maryann's Gate." Aerial, "Well congratulations, you've found it. " Sky, "Then maybe you can help us. We're looking for an item known as the Air Stone. We heard that if we came here we would be able to find it." Part of the storyline involves gathering the various stones of power. It is clear they already have the fire stone (as displayed in their fight), and it seems they are near the Air Stone now. By gathering the stones they will have a better chance of defeating Beta, a silver sable that is a clone (main villain of a previous game that was much loved, though his name wasn't Alpha or Beta, and it is never once mentioned in this game though some players still call him by his name from the previous Final Enclave game).

(18:57:43) ((GM)_Prysus): Of course, neither Sky nor Holiday have informed Trent of this mission yet, but it is one of the constant elements of the game. It is possible to face Beta without the stones, but he is considerably more difficult, sometimes nearly impossible to beat without them.

(18:59:32) (PC)_Trent): "So... you're searching for the stones?" *calmly*

(18:59:39) (PC)_Trent): "Cool."

(19:00:28) (PC)_Trent): "And thank you for patching me up, Aerial, you're a very gifted healer." *voice grateful*

(19:03:50) ((GM)_Prysus): Aerial, "I'm not that good. Grandmother is much better. She may be able to tell you more about the Air Stone." And, to keep things a bit more moving (unless you wanted to small talk more), Aerial takes them to one of the elders of the village who is able to tell them a bit more. She is known as grandmother to all as a result of her age, but she has no direct descendants, at least none that anyone know of. She is able to give them some more information, though even she does not know what the stones are or why they possess such power. She does know of a man that may know their origins, but he has not been seen since he left for the Great City, the last city on the planet that is said to still have technology in its prime (most others are run down versions, things scrapped together, etc.).

(19:05:48) (PC)_Trent): "How can we find the man who is in the Great City?"

(19:11:12) ((GM)_Prysus): Grandmother, "It has been 13 years since I last saw Nanato. I bet the beautiful red hair has gone all white by now." *She says in reminiscing. It sounds like a fond memory. They may have been lovers once, or at least good friends. He had always dreamed of visiting the Great City, and he told me the tree people learned of its location. I had always believed it was just a rumor, but he believed." *With a wrinkly smile.* "He always was the optimist. The King of the Tree People is said to also have possession of the Air Stone, but he sees no one. They are a race that respect strength and power above all else, and none have been stong enough to gain their favor since Nanato left."

(19:16:19) (PC)_Trent): oO(So... Tree People first, then Great City? Or the other way around? :-? )

(19:16:38) (PC)_Trent): *looks to see if Sky or Holiay have any more questions.*

(19:16:44) (PC)_Trent): Holliday*

(19:18:23) ((GM)_Prysus): Sky, "Where do we find these Tree People?" Grandmother, "Look out that window there. Do you see the Lake of Life? At its center grows the Veil ((a giant vine)) that covers the skys. It is there they live. But reaching there is no easy task. Even the waters are dangerous if you go that far out."

(19:19:55) (PC)_Trent): "So... we need to find a boat or a plane?" *quietly, with a shrug*

(19:27:32) ((GM)_Prysus): Grandmother, "If you are determined to go, a boat will be no troubles. Some still remain in the docks from the Old World. We have little use for them. Know that others have gone though." *She shakes her head discouragingly.* "None have ever returned save for Nanato." Sky, "And where are the docks?" Grandmother, "If you are to go, then perhaps you should take Aerial with you. She knows these lands well, and you are bound to suffer great injury. She is a fine healer. I am confident you will need her skills."

(19:28:21) (PC)_Trent): "Heh. I know I will. "

(19:35:09) ((GM)_Prysus): Aerial is able to guide them to the docks where they find some boats. Some are beaten up and not seaworthy. However, going through them, Trent is able to find one in particular that should be able to fit them all and excellent for traveling. Effectively it is a large speed boat. Though, it'll need a little patching up, which Trent is capable of doing.

(19:39:57) (PC)_Trent): "This one will need a little fixing... " *rolls up sleeves* "but she's definately the best suited."

(19:42:49) ((GM)_Prysus): And Trent can have it repaired (fast fowarded in time).

(19:44:01) (PC)_Trent): *repairs it, then pulls away and wipes his forehead, smiling in satisfaction*

(19:44:15) (PC)_Trent): *looks to see if it has a name*

(19:45:41) ((GM)_Prysus): The Waverider.

(19:46:45) (PC)_Trent): "Well... ready when you are. The Waverider is ready for travel. Unless you want to rest first." *thoughtfully*

(19:47:06) (PC)_Trent): oO(Or randomly go around and looting the town)

(19:48:59) ((GM)_Prysus): They start to head towards the Veil (the giant vine that stretches up and into the sky). Suddenly at their sides emerge water creatures. Some appear to be riding larger water creatures like mounts. If they get onboard the others will have to deal with them, as Trent will be in little position piloting the boat.I'll let roll a piloting (to see how well they can be avoided).

(19:49:39) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d100 and gets (78)=78.

(19:49:47) (PC)_Trent):

(19:49:51) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d100 and gets (11)=11.

(19:50:09) (PC)_Trent): oO(Extra XP? )

(19:50:20) ((GM)_Prysus): And it's okay, it's just good experience for the group.

(19:52:48) ((GM)_Prysus): The others are fighting off those that get on board. They're not very strong, but there are lots of them! Suddenly, in front of the boat a large spout of water shoots up into the air. Viewing it on the screen this would be effectively a cut scene that would have to avoid in the future. The water bubbles in the area before it erupts upward as a signal. ((Basically first one is free, the others you have to watch out for.))

(19:53:44) ((GM)_Prysus): Piloting and dodge. ((Don't worry, no instant deaths.))

(19:53:51) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d100 and gets (21)=21.

(19:53:58) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (18)=18.

(19:54:00) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d100 and gets (66)=66.

(19:54:16) ((GM)_Prysus): The water spouts have a set dodge of 15 or higher (and you get full bonuses).

(19:55:28) ((GM)_Prysus): He's able to avoid the water spouts so far, but the water creatures appear far more skilled at navigating them allowing them to stay on top of the boat nearly constantly. It's reasonable that they would. They're aquatic in nature making this their natural habitat.

(19:56:39) (PC)_Trent): "I'm not able to shake them. Sorry. >_< But as long as we can avoid the spouts we should be okay."

(19:58:30) ((GM)_Prysus): And, unless you want more, last time.

(19:59:24) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (9)=9.

(19:59:27) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d100 and gets (10)=10.

(19:59:33) (PC)_Trent):

(19:59:34) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d100 and gets (35)=35.

(19:59:52) (PC)_Trent): good news...we lost them bad news...

(20:00:01) (PC)_Trent): (oh, wait! full bonus)

(20:00:09) (PC)_Trent): (+8. I'm good )

(20:00:09) ((GM)_Prysus): What are your bonuses to dodge? Yes.

(20:00:59) ((GM)_Prysus): Yeah, I basically made it quite workable for the character (usually it's not hard to dodge those, though it can be hard to dodge them and the creatures).

(20:02:03) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (12)=12.

(20:04:39) ((GM)_Prysus): Taking it close to one of the spouts, Trent is able to lure them in close and then let one of the water mounts get hit by the spout instead. A single creature lands from blast upward into the boat, slightly dazed and easily dispatched. While Trent caught one in the maneuver the rest of them were wiser and stood clear, but that allowed Trent the chance to break away as they make it to the base of the large vine. They're able to move along the roots that surround the stem.

(20:05:20) (PC)_Trent): "Awesome. "

(20:13:36) ((GM)_Prysus): Sky, "Good piloting. All right, let's go."

(20:13:53) (PC)_Trent): "Thanks."

(20:17:54) ((GM)_Prysus): The vine is large. Its stem twists around and has several smaller vines growing along it making it very easy to climb with the twists giving places to stand during combat. As they begin their ascent 4 plant creatures emerge from the vine. They are small, and look like plants with long vines for arms. These are the Tree People. They don't just stand in one place, but bounce there with a "Meep! Meep!" sound.

(20:19:57) (PC)_Trent): *gets ready for combat* "They respect strength and power?"

(20:20:07) (PC)_Trent): "Maybe a show of force?" *suggesting*

(20:22:07) ((GM)_Prysus): If you want to do the battle, initiative.

(20:22:20) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (4)+1=5.

(20:22:50) ((GM)_Prysus): Sky, Holiday, Aerial, Tree People (all four) ...

(20:22:53) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 4d20 and gets (6,7,2,8)=23.

(20:24:30) ((GM)_Prysus): In this environment the Tree People have bonuses (not on the vine they wouldn't) and go first.

(20:24:35) ((GM)_Prysus): Each attacks one of the party.

(20:24:56) ((GM)_Prysus): Tree People (group), Sky, Holiday, Aerial ...

(20:25:01) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 4d20 and gets (12,7,4,14)=37.

(20:25:09) (PC)_Trent): *attempts to parry the one who attacks him, using his sword*

(20:25:13) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (18)+11=29.

(20:26:41) ((GM)_Prysus): Trent is able to parry the vine whip attack of the Tree People, but both Sky and Holiday are hit while Aerial is able to fly away (she has a great dodge, but can't fight for the life of her).

(20:28:23) ((GM)_Prysus): And right now commands are fairly simple, leaving it as "Standard" attack. Typically this is just the character's main attack, though it is a mode typically used and weaker opponents when the player isn't worried about micromanaging the battle (far more important on boss battles).

(20:28:56) (PC)_Trent): *attacks with a basic slash*

(20:29:04) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (9)+8=17.

(20:29:31) ((GM)_Prysus): Trent's Opponent, Sky, Opponent, Holiday, Opponent, Aerial, Opponent ... ((In that order.))

(20:29:45) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 7d20 and gets (9,4,5,8,7,12,10)=55.

(20:31:53) ((GM)_Prysus): The group all hits ... except for Aerial who uses on of her herbs to slow down her opponent (most of her attacks are status effects, not damaging types).

(20:32:49) ((GM)_Prysus): Three will attack attack again (Aerial's is too slow and will attack next turn).

(20:33:05) ((GM)_Prysus): Tree People, Sky, Holiday ...

(20:33:10) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 3d20 and gets (16,11,14)=41.

(20:33:22) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (3)+11=14.

(20:33:34) (PC)_Trent): *winces as he gets struck*

(20:34:51) ((GM)_Prysus): And the group is hit again, but they're fairly weak attacks, and after having leveled up a few times Trent isn't in much danger from them.

(20:35:15) ((GM)_Prysus): Aerial uses her turn to cast a heal on Trent (who is the weakest), commanded by the player who is clearly looking out for him.

(20:35:39) ((GM)_Prysus): ((And Trent wasn't in danger, but always better to keep the one with lowest life healthy.))

(20:35:45) (PC)_Trent): (right. )

(20:35:49) (PC)_Trent): "Thanks!"

(20:35:54) ((GM)_Prysus): ((Actually ... Aerial has the lowest life, but she's not injured. ))

(20:36:12) (PC)_Trent): oO(Who is playing this game with me here? :-? )

(20:36:14) ((GM)_Prysus): And it'll be Trent's turn.

(20:36:59) (PC)_Trent): *attacks again*

(20:37:05) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (14)+8=22.

(20:37:09) ((GM)_Prysus): Trent's opponent, Sky, Opponent, Holiday, Opponent

(20:37:16) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 5d20 and gets (19,15,20,12,10)=76.

(20:37:30) ((GM)_Prysus):

(20:37:45) ((GM)_Prysus): The only one who connects is Holiday, who finishes his off.

(20:37:53) (PC)_Trent):

(20:39:12) ((GM)_Prysus): The three remaining plants will attack, Sky, Aerial, Holiday (if needed) ...

(20:39:15) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 4d20 and gets (16,18,20,5)=59.

(20:39:54) (PC)_Trent): (so Trent's target switched and went to Holiday?)

(20:40:17) ((GM)_Prysus): No. If Aerial didn't get her dodge, Holiday may have taken it for her.

(20:40:24) ((GM)_Prysus): She dodged, no need.

(20:40:25) (PC)_Trent): (AH! okay )

(20:40:31) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (13)+11=24.

(20:40:32) (PC)_Trent): *parry*

(20:40:59) ((GM)_Prysus): Trent parries without a problem.

(20:42:11) ((GM)_Prysus): His turn.

(20:42:25) ((GM)_Prysus): Sky, Holiday, Tree People ...

(20:42:29) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 3d20 and gets (11,17,14)=42.

(20:42:45) (PC)_Trent): *attacks again*

(20:42:50) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (17)+8=25.

(20:44:34) ((GM)_Prysus): Holiday is healed by Aerial, and Trent and Sky finish off their opponents with Holiday hurting the one attacking Aerial. And, seeing as it's everyone's turn again (it was slowed down first action) I won't even ask for the rolls and say it's finished off too.

(20:45:19) (PC)_Trent): (teehee)

(20:45:31) (PC)_Trent): "Yay! I actually managed to defeat something "

(20:48:21) (PC)_Trent): *looks at the Tree People* "You think we defeated enough of them to be respected as strong? Or do we need to defeat more?" *thoughtfully*

(20:48:28) ((GM)_Prysus): Holiday, "Well ..." *They all look upwards at how high the vine really goes, as it spirals up higher and higher and higher into the sky.* "... you're going to have a lot of time to defeat more."

(20:49:03) (PC)_Trent): "More it is then." *nods* "No problem. "

(20:55:26) ((GM)_Prysus): They continue up the stalk, fighting them and a few varying types of Tree People. None of them prove much match for the group, and Trent and Aerial are beginning to level well. Trent should be close to learning a Special Technique soon. After defeating so many they are able to see the Tree King at the top of the vine. It's vines stretch out across the sky and are lined by clouds. It's actually safe to walk on the clouds in the game theory there are vines underneath which can't always be seen, but seeing just clouds is a better visual.

(20:56:25) (PC)_Trent): "This is so awsome."

(20:58:25) ((GM)_Prysus): After hearing out their request the Tree King considers the matter. Finally he responds, "You've done well to get this far, but if you want the Air Stone you still need to prove yourself to me. There will be a one on one battle in the arena. Pick your champion to represent your group. If you win, you will earn the Air Stone. If we win, then you will hand over the Fire Stone."

(20:59:04) ((GM)_Prysus): The group has the chance to huddle and talk it over.

(20:59:13) (PC)_Trent): oO(Sky.)

(20:59:32) (PC)_Trent): "Well, I'm just a newbie, I'm out. It would be between you two." *nods to Sky and Holliday*

(21:01:41) ((GM)_Prysus): Holiday, "This sounds like quite a gamble. If we lose the Fire Stone our chances go down considerablly." Aerial, "I don't see much other choice if you want the Air Stone." Sky, "All right, then we'll do it." The moment for the player to select who he wants to select. Sky, "Trent, I think you should do it." Sky is clearly the strongest fighter, but from a player perspective this would be a good chance to help Trent level up and catch up. So far most of the Tree People haven't been too great a challenge.

(21:03:29) (PC)_Trent): "Are you sure? Well... ... if you think I have a good chance, then okay. Are you really willing to bet the Fire Stone on me though?"

(21:04:47) ((GM)_Prysus): Sky tosses the Fire Stone in her hand with a smug smirk. "Well, if you really don't think you can do it ..." Even though she says it, it's a teasing tone. She doesn't seem worried at all.

(21:05:49) (PC)_Trent): "Heh. Thank you for the confidence in me. "

(21:07:09) (PC)_Trent): *takes the firestone* "how do I use this?"

(21:08:13) ((GM)_Prysus): ((Actually, the Stones are being bargained with. Neither can be used. It was just being shown because she is putting it on the line. Sorry for the confusion. ))

(21:09:24) (PC)_Trent): (OH! okay. Nevermind )

(21:12:08) (PC)_Trent): *goes into the fight, sword ready, cautious, alert, and expecting a tough combat*

(21:16:14) ((GM)_Prysus): Across the arena from Trent a door opens. Exiting from it is ... ... ... a creature that is about 10 feet high, but only because it's hunched over and walking on its knuckles. It's milk white skin with pale blue stripes along its back. It appears to have hands, but the fingers are curled up and being used more like legs (it's hands are kind of like an ape, but it's posture more like a dog with more of an arched back showing that it is hunched over). Aerial calls out, "You can do it! "

(21:17:38) (PC)_Trent): *takes a deep breath* oO( >_< well, if I get pulverized, at least I know she can patch me up)

(21:20:03) ((GM)_Prysus): And initiative!

(21:20:09) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (4)+2=6.

(21:21:26) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (14)+1=15.

(21:21:41) (PC)_Trent): (any orders from the player? )

(21:21:58) ((GM)_Prysus): ((BRB.))

(21:27:24) (PC)_Trent): *attacks the champion with a swift jab*

(21:27:30) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (15)+8=23.

(21:31:52) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (17)+6=23.

(21:33:07) ((GM)_Prysus): The beast barely moves out of the way as the sword of Trent scraps along the tough skin of the creature. ((GM Note: The creatures are actually getting tougher, but since Trent is leveling in the video game I'm simply lowering their stats in comparison.))

(21:34:03) ((GM)_Prysus): The creature goes to swipe at Trent with one of it's hands/paws attempting to knock him over.

(21:34:03) (PC)_Trent): (right)

(21:34:06) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (16)+5=21.

(21:34:12) (PC)_Trent): *attempts to parry*

(21:34:16) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (17)+11=28.

(21:34:56) (PC)_Trent): *manages to parry and then attacks with a power-swipe*

(21:34:57) ((GM)_Prysus): It was difficult to parry due to its large size. Luckily it was just an arm though. However, if it puts more of its body into it Trent may not be so fortunate to simply parry it.

(21:35:01) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (3)+8=11.

(21:35:09) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (4)+6=10.

(21:35:39) (PC)_Trent): oO(Sweet! Maybe I can do this )

(21:36:27) ((GM)_Prysus): It swipes again at Trent, much like a giant animal testing out its prey with still relatively weak hits (or like a cat testing the water with its paws).

(21:36:30) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (16)+5=21.

(21:37:15) (PC)_Trent): *attempts to parry*

(21:37:18) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (3)+11=14.

(21:37:48) ((GM)_Prysus): Don't attack yet ...

(21:39:32) ((GM)_Prysus): Trent gets knocked over. The damage isn't really too much as he hits the ground. At test the damage was minimal. However, it seems that knocking him down wasn't the real attack. Once he's floored it comes in with a full ramming charge. It's going to hit Trent with its head and send him back. This would hurt a lot more and this one can't be parried (can be dodged).

(21:39:36) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (17)+5=22.

(21:40:01) (PC)_Trent): *tries to dodge and roll out of the way*

(21:40:04) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (16)+8=24.

(21:40:15) (PC)_Trent): oO(Phew!)

(21:40:39) ((GM)_Prysus): ((Now it's your move. ))

(21:41:24) (PC)_Trent): *attacks the creature!*

(21:41:28) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (16)+8=24.

(21:41:33) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (13)+6=19.

(21:42:32) ((GM)_Prysus): Trent connects again. And, once again, the creature goes for that swiping hand/paw attack.

(21:42:41) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (20)+5=25.

(21:43:39) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (15)=15.

(21:43:50) ((GM)_Prysus): Trent gets knocked over again. This time it hurt a bit more, but it's still not too damaging. Of course, this time he knows what's really in store for him. It's charging again!

(21:43:53) (PC)_Trent): *attempted to dodge *

(21:43:53) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (6)+5=11.

(21:44:11) (PC)_Trent): *tries to get out of the way of its combo*

(21:44:16) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (17)+8=25.

(21:44:28) (PC)_Trent): oO(Phew! that was a close one.)

(21:45:19) (PC)_Trent): *slashes (standard attack) and tries to see how hurt his enemy looks*

(21:45:25) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (3)+8=11.

(21:45:32) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (17)+6=23.

(21:46:30) ((GM)_Prysus): It's hard to tell. It's clearly taken a few hits, that much he can tell. But he'd guess it's not close to being defeated yet. ((GM Note: It's has more than half of its points left.))

(21:46:44) ((GM)_Prysus): The creature dodges and is going to try and paw attack Trent again.

(21:46:47) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (11)+5=16.

(21:46:56) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (7)+11=18.

(21:47:13) (PC)_Trent): *manages to parry and goes in for a thrust for its belly*

(21:47:18) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (14)+8=22.

(21:47:24) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (15)+6=21.

(21:52:43) ((GM)_Prysus): Trent connects again. This time the creature trots away. As it moves Trent can feel the floor shake beneath its weight. It's fast when it moves like that. After clearing some distance it lets out a loud scream that causes the arena to tremble. From its reaction it is likely hurt (50% or over damage taken). Drool and slobber come out of its mouth with its howl. Sky calls out, "Trent! Watch out it's going to charge!" Right after she says it the beast comes charging at Trent full speed! As much as the other one looks as if it may have hurt if it connected, this looks far more devastating.

(21:52:46) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (15)+5=20.

(21:54:38) (PC)_Trent): *attempts to dodge*

(21:54:41) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (8)+8=16.

(21:54:48) (PC)_Trent):

(21:55:51) ((GM)_Prysus): It connects and Trent hits the ground. That one definitely hurt. He can still feel the ground shaking as he starts to pick himself up again. Holiday, "Move!" The creature is already back on him!

(21:56:10) (PC)_Trent): *tries to get out of the way*

(21:56:14) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (9)+8=17.

(21:56:18) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (17)+5=22.

(21:57:20) (PC)_Trent): oO(Ouch. >_< )

(21:57:53) ((GM)_Prysus): Sky gets up, a hand on her sword. The arm of Aerial touches his, "If you do that we'll lose both stones." With a grunt of disapproval Sky sits back down. Aerial, "Just trust him. " Sky, "I do, but this still isn't easy to watch." *Her voice displeased watching someone in her group getting hurt.*

(21:58:20) ((GM)_Prysus): And by the time Trent is getting up its already back on top of him.

(21:58:30) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (7)+5=12.

(21:58:35) (PC)_Trent): *this time attempts to parry*

(21:58:39) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (20)+11=31.

(21:58:42) ((GM)_Prysus): Uh ...

(21:58:59) ((GM)_Prysus): Are you sure you really wanted to try and parry?

(21:59:18) (PC)_Trent): (dodge wasn't working )

(21:59:41) (PC)_Trent): (can I keep the roll with a dodge? :-? )

(22:00:25) ((GM)_Prysus): Trent manages to get his sword up in time, but the weight and momentum of the creature is just way too much and he's still knocked to the ground. He doesn't take as much damage this time, but it didn't save him from being knocked down either.

(22:01:43) ((GM)_Prysus): ((It was stated earlier the charge can't be parried.))

(22:02:17) (PC)_Trent): *growls something that probably comes out as asterisks and then gets to his feet*

(22:02:31) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (11)+5=16.

(22:02:42) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (17)+8=25.

(22:03:06) ((GM)_Prysus): Trent is able to dodge this time. However, with its speed the beast is already out of striking range. >_<

(22:03:31) ((GM)_Prysus): Trent has a moment to try something if he has a plan.

(22:03:38) (PC)_Trent): *goes pure defensive*

(22:03:45) ((GM)_Prysus): Sky, "You'll need to use a rolling strike!"

(22:04:09) (PC)_Trent): "Rolling Strike?" oO(Do I even have that secret technique yet?)

(22:06:23) ((GM)_Prysus): Sky, "Roll out of the way and come up with a strike in one move." From a video gamers perspective prompts would be displayed on the screen explaining how to perform a rolling strike with the controls. It's effectively a dodge/strike move, but needs to be done with precise timing.

(22:06:41) (PC)_Trent): "Okay."

(22:06:47) (PC)_Trent): *tries the rolling strike*

(22:06:53) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (15)+8=23.

(22:07:01) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (10)+5=15.

(22:07:10) ((GM)_Prysus): Trent is able to dodge. Strike, no bonuses.

(22:07:30) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (15)=15.

(22:07:40) ((GM)_Prysus): And that's going to be enough to hit.

(22:08:45) ((GM)_Prysus): It slashes into the beast, cutting it good. However, it's going to be coming around again. Trent still has time to prepare.

(22:09:05) (PC)_Trent): *gets in position, then will try the rolling strike again*

(22:09:09) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (16)+8=24.

(22:09:11) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (18)=18.

(22:09:16) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (14)+5=19.

(22:09:26) ((GM)_Prysus): Pause ...

(22:11:08) ((GM)_Prysus): Trent slashses into it again and the beast screams out. Certain parts of the game have cinematic conclusions that can help a battle end faster if the individual's reflexes are quick enough to keep up with the onscreen cues. Roll to strike vs. its dodge (unless Trent would rather stick with the rolling strikes to finish it off).

(22:11:55) ((GM)_Prysus): The strike roll is full bonuses.

(22:12:00) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (15)+8=23.

(22:12:05) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (10)+6=16.

(22:12:40) ((GM)_Prysus): As Trent's sword slashes into it he can hook it and pull himself up so he'll land on its back.

(22:13:26) (PC)_Trent): *does so, getting on it's back, holding on tight, and slashing/stabbing down*

(22:13:41) ((GM)_Prysus): Roll another strike (it can dodge, but at no bonuses, Trent has full).

(22:13:46) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (8)=8.

(22:13:51) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (1)+8=9.

(22:15:17) ((GM)_Prysus): The beast comes to a halt and manages to buck Trent off. However, its stopping is going to give Trent another chance to grab on. He can roll to strike (full bonuses) vs. its dodge (full bonuses). If it dodges it will be back to rolling dodge.

(22:15:26) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (12)+6=18.

(22:15:47) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (16)+8=24.

(22:16:12) ((GM)_Prysus): Trent is able to grab on again and climb onto its back. Second challenge (strike again, it can dodge at no bonus).

(22:16:14) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (13)=13.

(22:16:26) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (4)+8=12.

(22:17:42) (PC)_Trent): >_<

(22:17:42) ((GM)_Prysus): Once again Trent gets thrown off. Your call if you want to try and climb on again or not (though I don't think dodging its charge will be easier).

(22:18:02) (PC)_Trent): will try one more time

(22:18:08) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (10)+8=18.

(22:18:14) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (20)+6=26.

(22:18:39) ((GM)_Prysus): This time it takes off before Trent can grab on. It's going to be coming back around for a charge.

(22:18:52) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (1)+5=6.

(22:19:33) (PC)_Trent): *does a rolling strike*

(22:19:41) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 2d20 and gets (5,20)=25.

(22:19:49) (PC)_Trent): ( )

(22:20:15) ((GM)_Prysus): With its 1 and your 20, I'll let you get on the back automatically if you want to try again. Otherwise it's just a really good hit (one more will be required).

(22:20:31) (PC)_Trent): (will just do the really good hit)

(22:20:48) ((GM)_Prysus): Well, it's a good hit regardless.

(22:21:13) (PC)_Trent): (oh! okay. in that case will go on the back (i thought you meant either on its back or hit) )

(22:21:34) (PC)_Trent): *gets on the back and gets a good hit in*

(22:21:48) ((GM)_Prysus): ((No, it hit regardless. I'm just offering him to climb up without trouble as a bonus. I wasn't sure if he wanted to try again or not. ))

(22:21:58) ((GM)_Prysus): Okay, strike vs. its straight dodge roll.

(22:22:00) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (4)=4.

(22:22:40) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (16)=16.

(22:26:10) ((GM)_Prysus): Trent manages to hold on and drive his sword down and into the neck of the beast. It lets out a groan of pain and slams into the ground head first. The momentum carries Trent forward and off its back, holding onto the sword's hilt he's able to right himself and land on his feet. Somehow the beast starts to get up again! Trent's hand still on the hilt, he suddenly twists it and draws it out in one clean move. There is a splatter of blood as the beast falls back to the floor. This time, it is not getting back up.

(22:28:10) ((GM)_Prysus): Without any malice or anger at loosing, the Tree King hands over the Air Stone to Trent, its new champion.

(22:28:20) (PC)_Trent): "thank you."

(22:28:52) (PC)_Trent): *takes the Air Stone, then grins and goes to his group.* "Thanks for believing in me." L *to Sky*

(22:29:08) (PC)_Trent): oO(Even if I didn't believe in myself. )

(22:30:35) ((GM)_Prysus): Sky, "We're a team. Of course I believed in you. "

(22:30:46) ((GM)_Prysus): As he takes it he learns more of what it can do. Though it is the Air Stone, it actually has the power of lightning. Or, more fittingly for Trent, electricity. And the experience from winning will give him the chance to learn a Special Technique. We can discuss those options later though.

(22:31:03) (PC)_Trent):

(22:31:10) (PC)_Trent): (good place to call it )

(22:31:12) ((GM)_Prysus): ((It's late and I don't want to get into a list of the techniques I have in mind.))

(22:31:17) (PC)_Trent): Thanks for running *hugs*

(22:31:20) (PC)_Trent): right

(22:31:28) ((GM)_Prysus): Thanks for playing. *Hugs.*
