(17:47:57) ((GM)_Prysus): Ready?

(17:48:28) (PC)_Trent): ready!

(17:49:38) ((GM)_Prysus): Okay, when we last left Trent had tried some luck at the casino. Did you want to do anything more or advance the story?

(17:50:49) (PC)_Trent): He'll see if there are any reflex based games, or any other similar interesting games. If not, he'll just go to the observatory and watch out the window.

(17:55:11) ((GM)_Prysus): No reflex based games. These are games of luck and chance. As for the Silver Hawk, there is no actual observatory. However, there are windows all along the edge of the ship making it easy to look out at the view. In addition to the casino, bar, dining room, individual rooms, there is a room for social gathering. The room for social gatherings has chairs and couches, along with some of the standard windows (nothing special in that regards), as well as drinks can be brought over from the bar. Though most who dwell here are wealthy individuals who care more for being noticed at the popular scene more than caring about the Silver Hawk or any of its amenities in any way.

(17:56:39) ((GM)_Prysus): There are no windows in the casino itself.

(17:56:55) (PC)_Trent): *goes to the popular scene room, gets a drink, and sits down on a comfy couch that's facing the window to watch outside. *

(17:57:05) (PC)_Trent): (right... most casionos don't have windows )

(17:57:23) ((GM)_Prysus): ((Exactly. ))

(17:58:49) (PC)_Trent): *sits with absolute confidence, fully relaxed * (and unless an NPC comes and talks to him, we can move on )

(18:02:28) ((GM)_Prysus): As Trent enters into the sitting room (as it shall be called from this point forward) he sees a group already sitting with glasses of champagnes. A meerkat appears to be in the middle of telling a story, "... so that is when I said to him, 'And that is why we have a lower class.'" There are laughs. No truly hearty laughs, but in the way people who always want to seem dignified laugh to say it is amusing while still seeming somehow stuffy.

(18:03:26) (PC)_Trent): "Geeze... and I thought my jokes were bad." *his own tone amused.*

(18:03:52) (PC)_Trent): *flops down on a couch with a margarita and a contented sigh*

(18:04:34) ((GM)_Prysus): If you'd like to interact/banter with them we can, otherwise I can move on as you mentioned earlier (just wanted to add the scene for flavor/atmosphere).

(18:05:18) (PC)_Trent): (teehee. We can move on. I just couldn't resist )

(18:05:27) ((GM)_Prysus): ((That's fine. ))

(18:06:19) ((GM)_Prysus): Typing ...

(18:30:34) ((GM)_Prysus): Scene: Holiday walks down one of the halls of the Silver Hawk. He opens the door to his room and enters. After he does a warthog peers around the corner, and then approaches. As the warthog reaches the door of Holiday's room, he draws a gun. He then quickly opens the door and rushes in with weapon ready. The room is dark, with only the light from the hall allowing anything to be seen at all. Suddenly the barrel of a gun is pointed at the back of the warthog's head. Holiday's voice can be heard, "Hold it right there pal." The scene shifts to show Holiday behind the warthog now. He is cloaked mostly in shadow as the light from the hall is cast at his back concealing most of his features with a heavily shadowed image. Holiday continues, "So, mind telling me why you were following me?"

(18:31:05) ((GM)_Prysus): The warthog is scared. Right now he's in a totally prone position. He'd have no chance to do anything if Holiday wanted to finish it. "B-because ..."

A new voice sounds, "Because he was just the bait ..."

Holiday, "Huh ..." It's not a question so much as a noise made as he realizes someone's gotten in behind him.

(18:31:21) ((GM)_Prysus): Meanwhile, Trent is in the sitting room with the others. The echoes of four gun shots can be heard echoing into the room. The meerkat, "Odd, there aren't supposed to be any fireworks on this trip. Some of the hired help must've gotten a little carried away."

(18:31:33) ((GM)_Prysus): The scene shifts back to Holiday. He steps into the hallway over a body that isn't moving anymore. "I wonder what that was about. Oh well." He goes to leave when something catches his eye and he looks back. "Wait ..." Holiday crouches down by the body of his would-be assassin. He pulls the collar of the shirt off to the side revealing a tattoo on the chest. "That mark. I see." He stands back up. With a reluctant groan he adds, "I should probably warn the others."

(18:31:43) ((GM)_Prysus): The scene shifts back to Sky in the black dress along with Mayor Bay in the casino. The pig is at the craps table. The crowd can be heard saying, "Seven!" Mayor Bay smiles, "Oh, I am lucky today. You must be my lucky charm. I wonder if I amy get lucky on anything else tonight."

Sky replies, "If you mean 'lucky' as in 'If that hand comes any closer I'll keep damage restricted to that area' then yes."

Mayor Bay, "Oh, you're so strong spirited. I found that most attractive." He rolls the dice again and there are cheers. However, the celebration is ended as a lockdown of the casino area is suddenly activated. Emergency doors and hatches seal closed. The pig looks startled, "What's going on?"

Sky takes in the situation quickly. As she sees the men with weapons she knows, "We're about to be robbed."

(18:32:03) ((GM)_Prysus): ((Done for now.))

(18:34:59) (PC)_Trent): *gets up, silently and quickly, hand on sword, and starts looking for the others.*

(18:36:07) ((GM)_Prysus): ((For a reminder: Trent still has Sky's swords. Which he could technically use if he wanted, though he wouldn't know to use two swords at the same time like Sky does.))

(18:36:14) (PC)_Trent): (isn't drawing it, just has hand on the hilt)

(18:37:12) (PC)_Trent): (and good point. )

(18:38:10) (PC)_Trent): *goes to see Sky.* "Hey, did you guys hear... um... fireworks?"

(18:38:50) ((GM)_Prysus): Holiday is the first Trent finds (and he won't get to Sky because the Casino is sealed off from the rest of the ship).

(18:39:00) (PC)_Trent): (ah, okay)

(18:39:12) (PC)_Trent): "Holiday. What's going on?"

(18:42:37) ((GM)_Prysus): While Trent only has his hand on his sword, Holiday has his weapon drawn and looks quite ready to use it. Holiday, "We have bandits onboard. It's a group based in the east. I'm amazed they'd try something this big. We need to find the others."

(18:45:45) (PC)_Trent): *pulls his own sword.* "Right. Where do we start? Getting into the casino? Or looking for Aerial, Gil, and Evrym2?"

(18:46:02) ((GM)_Prysus): ((I keep forgetting about Gil. ))

(18:48:52) ((GM)_Prysus): Holiday, "The casino isn't far. Let's head there first."

(18:49:37) (PC)_Trent): *nods* "Right." *heads for the casino, and looks for a way in past the seals*

(18:55:13) ((GM)_Prysus): And okay, I'll try to separate who much was in character knowledge and how much was just scenes. Neither Holiday nor Trent actually knew the Casino was sealed off. The lockdown is for the protection of the patrons to protect against attack. Unfortunately, in this particular incident, it's been used to seal them in with the attackers. When they reach the casino they do find that it has been sealed tight with security systems keeping it locked. Holiay, "That could be a problem." Trent on the other hand, with Lester's skills and knowledge, knows that there has to be override controls somewhere, likely in a control room. If they can get there they should be able to undo the lockdown.

(18:55:48) (PC)_Trent): "Let's go find the control room."

(18:56:57) (PC)_Trent): *goes to where the control room is* (question, has he ever been on the SilverHawk in any of the previous games?)

(18:58:59) ((GM)_Prysus): ((Hmm ... considering the Silver Hawk goes over the Torn Earth, he probably has. ))

(19:03:00) (PC)_Trent): *goes to it, having a good idea of where it is, even though it looks slightly different from inside the game.*

(19:04:38) ((GM)_Prysus): Holiday and Trent head through the ship. As they head towards the control room they find a group of running civilians. There are three Highway Bandits chasing them. Holiday points his gun at the bandits, "We have a problem here?" The Highway Bandits look like they are getting ready to fight.

(19:06:04) ((GM)_Prysus): ((And you can type if you want, or just roll initiative. ))

(19:07:06) (PC)_Trent): "Hey! Anyone who cant fight... duck and cover and stay out of the way. Let the pros handle this one. You, Bandits... pick on someone who can actually fight!"

(19:07:17) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (7)+1=8.

(19:07:20) ((GM)_Prysus): Holiday, Highway Bandits ...

(19:07:23) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 2d20 and gets (8,11)=19.

(19:08:59) (PC)_Trent): (eep! brb.)

(19:09:07) ((GM)_Prysus): The Highway Bandits take shots at Trent and Holiday. Yes, the civilians are out of the way, having continued to run and fled around a corner.

(19:09:12) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (14)=14.

(19:09:14) ((GM)_Prysus): +3

(19:09:22) ((GM)_Prysus): Holiday (defense) ...

(19:09:24) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (8)=8.

(19:09:56) ((GM)_Prysus): ((Trent will need a defense, but I'll continue forward with Holiday's initiative first since he had higher anyways.))

(19:10:28) ((GM)_Prysus): Holiday barely manages to avoid (he has bonuses to avoid gunfire) and takes a shot at one of the Highway Bandits.

(19:10:32) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 2d20 and gets (16,12)=28.

(19:11:25) ((GM)_Prysus): Holiday hits one, but it doesn't kill him (semi-tough opponents, will require two hits unless something like a Special Technique is used).

(19:11:43) ((GM)_Prysus): Trent's dodge and then move. ((For when you return.))

(19:15:26) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (19)+8=27.

(19:16:29) (PC)_Trent): *dodges out of the way quickly, and then grinning, slashes his sword into the same Highway bandit that Holiday took on, to finish him off.*

(19:16:43) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (9)+8=17.

(19:17:25) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (1)+3=4.

(19:17:59) ((GM)_Prysus): Trent gets a critical that would have finished him off regardless (criticals are a matter of luck, so no way he could have predicted that).

(19:18:21) ((GM)_Prysus): Highway Bandits (attack), Holiday (defense) ...

(19:18:23) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 2d20 and gets (11,14)=25.

(19:18:35) ((GM)_Prysus): 14 total for their strike.

(19:19:17) ((GM)_Prysus): Trent should roll a dodge.

(19:19:34) ((GM)_Prysus): Holiday fires another shot at one (all are fresh targets). Holiday (attack), Bandit (defense) ...

(19:19:36) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (19)+8=27.

(19:19:37) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 2d20 and gets (12,6)=18.

(19:19:53) ((GM)_Prysus): Holiday connects again. Trent's move.

(19:20:32) (PC)_Trent): *dodges very well out of the way, and attacks another fresh target.*

(19:20:35) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (20)+8=28.

(19:21:10) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (18)=18.

(19:21:41) ((GM)_Prysus): He's good, but not that good. It's another critical for Trent that finishes him off in one move!

(19:21:53) ((GM)_Prysus): 1 = Holiday, 2 = Trent ...

(19:21:55) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d2 and gets (1)=1.

(19:22:18) ((GM)_Prysus): The final bandit will attack Holiday. Bandit, Holiday, Holiday, Bandit ...

(19:22:20) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 4d20 and gets (13,4,3,16)=36.

(19:22:42) ((GM)_Prysus): Ouch! The bandit hits him and manages to dodge!

(19:22:50) ((GM)_Prysus): Trent's move.

(19:24:03) (PC)_Trent): *attacks*

(19:24:08) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (8)+8=16.

(19:24:24) ((GM)_Prysus): Defense ...

(19:24:26) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (5)=5.

(19:24:46) ((GM)_Prysus): Battle ended.

(19:25:31) (PC)_Trent): *grins* "That was invigorating. You okay? "

(19:27:38) ((GM)_Prysus): Holiday, "Yeah, I'm fine." Though he's seemed a little more grim and serious than usual, even for him, since this story arc about the bandits started.

(19:28:24) (PC)_Trent): "Something wrong?" *tone goes more serious*

(19:31:13) ((GM)_Prysus): Holiday, "It's nothing. We should keep moving. There are likely others still running about, and the rest of our team is still out there." *Change of subject.*

(19:32:10) (PC)_Trent): *shrugs* "Okay." *heads towards the control room*

(19:33:34) ((GM)_Prysus): As they continue through the corridors of the Silver Hawk they hear groaning as if someone is in pain.

(19:34:34) (PC)_Trent): *tenses, and tries to zero in on the sound, alert for enemies.*

(19:36:11) ((GM)_Prysus): The sound appears to be coming from a doorway up ahead. The door is ajar, and when opening they find ... Gil! He looks ... air sick.

(19:37:19) (PC)_Trent): "Gil... "

(19:38:13) ((GM)_Prysus): Gil, "The ground I can deal with but ... the air ... it's so unnatural." ((Mind you, Gil is a dolphin, sea creature.))

(19:38:22) (PC)_Trent): "Um... you look really sick buddy... do you know where Aerial is?"

(19:39:14) ((GM)_Prysus): *Gil shakes his head no.* Holiday, "Pick yourself up Lowtide, we have work to do."

(19:43:14) ((GM)_Prysus): They find Evrym2 standing guard over Aerial making sure she's safe. The group, with the exception of Sky (who we know is in the casino and weaponless), manages to make it to the control room. However, when they get there, automated defenses come online! Two ceiling mounted guns come down to fire at anything that approaches from the hall. And there appear to be two Highway Bandits using the doorway as cover as they target those in the hall as well. ((The Highway Bandits will need a 12 or higher to hit, and a 15 or higher to do full damage.))

(19:44:15) ((GM)_Prysus): ((And I'll allow actions/typing, or we can just go for initiative.))

(19:44:24) (PC)_Trent): (is Gil Ranged or close up?)

(19:44:31) (PC)_Trent): (for fighting?)

(19:44:46) ((GM)_Prysus): Close up, except for potentially his Water Stone.

(19:45:01) ChatBot: No ignored Users listed.

(19:46:41) (PC)_Trent): "Ranged fighters, shoot for the turrets." *uses another door way to a side room in the hallway as cover*

(19:47:17) ((GM)_Prysus): And yes, that's possible, though it's hard to get good aim if you're moving in and out.

(19:48:19) (PC)_Trent): right. Will use the hall as cover and take out turrets first, even if it will take longer.

(19:48:25) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (10)+1=11.

(19:48:26) (PC)_Trent): (init)

(19:48:31) ((GM)_Prysus): Ceiling guns, Highway Bandits, Holiday, Gil ...

(19:48:34) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 4d20 and gets (3,15,2,18)=38.

(19:48:56) ((GM)_Prysus): Gil (to strike) ...

(19:48:59) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (14)=14.

(19:50:42) ((GM)_Prysus): He uses his Water Stone. A series of ice shards appear around the turret, then encase it. The move takes a few moments, and if he were exposed he'd leave himself open or give others a better chance to dodge. But mounted weapons can't dodge. Of course, the move itself does no damage. All it is really good for is to freeze the weapon for a turn (after which the ice will break).

(19:50:53) ((GM)_Prysus): Highway Bandits ...

(19:50:55) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (20)=20.

(19:50:57) ((GM)_Prysus): +3

(19:51:08) ((GM)_Prysus):

(19:51:18) ((GM)_Prysus): Okay, they will ...

(19:51:33) (PC)_Trent): (it's a good thing we have Aerial with us and are taking mostly cover )

(19:51:54) ((GM)_Prysus): Holiday (1 and 2), Trent (3), Gil (4), Aerial (5), Evrym2 (6) ...

(19:51:59) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 2d6 and gets (1,3)=4.

(19:52:12) ((GM)_Prysus): Holiday and Trent have to dodge.

(19:52:14) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (5)=5.

(19:52:25) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (5)=5.

(19:52:30) ((GM)_Prysus): Holiday is going to be hit for good damage, as is Trent.

(19:52:37) (PC)_Trent): "Ouch. >_< "

(19:52:38) ((GM)_Prysus): Trent's move.

(19:52:57) (PC)_Trent): *hits the other turret with his air stone blast*

(19:53:08) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (5)+5=10.

(19:53:18) ((GM)_Prysus): Roll %.

(19:53:54) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d100 and gets (36)=36.

(19:54:11) ((GM)_Prysus): Oooo ... he gets it on a short out.

(19:54:54) (PC)_Trent):

(19:55:45) ((GM)_Prysus): Holiday is next then ...

(19:55:49) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (12)=12.

(19:56:36) ((GM)_Prysus): He gets a good hit on the ceiling guns, but not enough to take it out (they're much tougher, requiring 3 normal hits, or 1 hit plus 1 critical).

(19:57:18) ((GM)_Prysus): Gil will try to use his Water Stone on one of the Highway Bandits (can't be used on the same target while it's still frozen, and it won't break free until right after his turn).

(19:57:23) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 2d20 and gets (19,11)=30.

(19:57:31) ((GM)_Prysus): He gets one!

(19:57:59) ((GM)_Prysus): The other ceiling gun breaks free. Meanwhile the other Highway Bandit will take a shot ...

(19:58:01) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (2)=2.

(19:58:15) ((GM)_Prysus): I won't even worry about a dodge with that low roll. Trent's move.

(19:58:36) (PC)_Trent): (how many turrets are left?)

(19:58:55) ((GM)_Prysus): Just the 1. ((2 turrets plus 2 bandits.))

(19:59:08) ((GM)_Prysus): ((1 turret down, 1 bandit frozen, 1 bandit free.))

(19:59:49) (PC)_Trent): (okay.) *attacks the remaining turret that's frozen, since electricity conducts through water*

(19:59:59) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (7)+5=12.

(20:00:09) ((GM)_Prysus): %?

(20:00:47) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d100 and gets (26)=26.

(20:01:11) (PC)_Trent): "Turrets are down. Move in and take down the bandits!"

(20:01:16) ((GM)_Prysus): Wow, very nice (truth be told didn't think you'd get the second one). It also shorts out.

(20:01:34) ((GM)_Prysus): Holiday takes a shot at the unfrozen bandit.

(20:01:41) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 2d20 and gets (1,16)=17.

(20:01:59) ((GM)_Prysus): Ouch ...

(20:02:22) ((GM)_Prysus): He doesn't hit.

(20:02:34) ((GM)_Prysus): Gil (to freeze the other) ...

(20:02:38) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 2d20 and gets (10,6)=16.

(20:03:01) ((GM)_Prysus): Another frozen, but just barely as he almost dodged out of the way of it.

(20:03:09) (PC)_Trent): "Nice, Gil."

(20:03:17) ((GM)_Prysus): Meanwhile, the first frozen bandit breaks free, but is unable to attack (breaking free was his move).

(20:03:21) ((GM)_Prysus): Trent.

(20:03:37) (PC)_Trent): *goes up and attacks the bandit that just broke free with his sword.*

(20:03:44) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (14)+8=22.

(20:05:11) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (18)+4=22.

(20:05:20) ((GM)_Prysus): !

(20:05:35) (PC)_Trent): "Wow... lucky little bandit."

(20:06:16) ((GM)_Prysus): As Trent in the bandit is able to dodge! His dodge takes him behind the wall where the others won't be able to target him. Meanwhile, Holiday will take a shot at the frozen one (who is still a target from the hall, and he's a ranged fighter regardless so he's not as likely to move in regardless).

(20:06:19) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 2d20 and gets (10,17)=27.

(20:06:28) ((GM)_Prysus): I don't know why I rolled to dodge.

(20:06:32) ((GM)_Prysus): He can't.

(20:06:49) ((GM)_Prysus): Evrym2 ...

(20:06:51) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (6)=6.

(20:07:30) ((GM)_Prysus): He's able to take out the other bandit. Meanwhile, Gil will take the time to move into position to help Trent, but won't get a turn this round. That'll leave it to the Highway Bandit to retaliate on Trent ...

(20:07:34) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (15)+3=18.

(20:08:17) (PC)_Trent): *does a rolling dodge and comes up to attack him*

(20:08:22) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 2d20 and gets (11,8)=19.

(20:08:29) (PC)_Trent): (both dodge + attack is +8

(20:09:19) ((GM)_Prysus): The bandit can dodge (but at penalty) ...

(20:09:21) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (6)=6.

(20:09:27) ((GM)_Prysus): Trent hits.

(20:09:34) ((GM)_Prysus): Gil ...

(20:09:36) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 2d20 and gets (1,6)=7.

(20:09:59) ((GM)_Prysus): And the bandit avoids again! He'll attack Trent with his gun.

(20:10:03) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (16)+3=19.

(20:10:11) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (12)+8=20.

(20:10:20) (PC)_Trent): *barely manages to dodge*

(20:13:06) ((GM)_Prysus): And ... um ... Trent's move. I'm sorry.

(20:13:24) (PC)_Trent): (oh! i thought it was holidays :-? for some reason)

(20:13:30) (PC)_Trent): *attacks the bandit*

(20:13:35) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (12)+8=20.

(20:13:40) ((GM)_Prysus): ((I kind of skipped them all together. ))

(20:13:45) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (14)+4=18.

(20:14:13) ((GM)_Prysus): And it's enough to finally finish the bandit off.

(20:15:53) (PC)_Trent): *makes for the controls.* "Okay... I can open the seals."

(20:16:39) ((GM)_Prysus): Holiday, "One of us should stay here while the rest of us get into position to take down the rest."

(20:17:10) (PC)_Trent): ( i was thinking that, actually, but thought it might be better to open and then move in as a group )

(20:17:59) (PC)_Trent): "It's not like we have radios to coordinate our movements."

(20:18:59) (PC)_Trent): "I can stay and time things, giving you exactly whatever time you plan ahead of time... unless..." *checks if theres an internal communications/intercom system.*

(20:19:43) ((GM)_Prysus): I'm sure there is some type of internal communication systems, even if rather primitive by modern Terran standards.

(20:21:27) (PC)_Trent): brb

(20:24:21) (PC)_Trent): (back)

(20:24:39) ((GM)_Prysus): ((Welcome back.))

(20:27:45) (PC)_Trent): "Okay... who will stay here? Aerial and Evrym? Gil?"

(20:30:33) ((GM)_Prysus): Holiday (player decision), "Gil, with you being so sick, probably best you stay here."

(20:33:03) (PC)_Trent): *shows Gil how to work everything, then goes down with Holiday, Evrym2 & Aerial into position*

(20:36:22) ((GM)_Prysus): Everyone gets into position. Finally the signal is given, and the security hatches open up into the casino. Typing ... ((Brief cut scene followed up by some combat ...))

(20:50:20) ((GM)_Prysus): When the doors open up the group moves in. Before any can react Holiday quickly shoots one and takes him out in a single hit. Another moves to attack Holiday and Trent quickly defeats that one. Hidden in a blind spot another looks he's about to snipe them. Suddenly he bursts into flames. Holiday looks, and Sky gives a smirk and the look as if she had their back. Holiday, in a lower voice to those next to him, "That dress doesn't have any pockets. If she had the Fire Stone where do you think she's hiding it?"

Evrym2, "Given the size and shape there are a very limited amount of places it could be. The most likely answer would be ..."

Holiday, "You know kid (Evrym2), some questions aren't meant to be answered."

A new voice interrupts, "Good to see you, Han."

Holiday's expression changes. "Han? Only one person called me that ..."

(20:50:28) ((GM)_Prysus): The scene shifts to a hyena, "When I learned you'd be aboard I made sure that the whole gang could be here to welcome back its former leader."

Holiday looks at him, "That was a long time ago."

Hyena, "Ya, it really was. Those were good times, up until you up and abandoned us."

Holiday, "I left when you started killing in cold blood."

Hyena, "You've grown weak. But ... ... you should know better than any of us, once a Cowboy you're one for life. There is only one way out. So I'm here to help. Happy retirement." He fires a shot at Holiday who manages to dodge. The shot hits the wall behind him and Holiday quickly fires back. With amazing speed and skill the hyena fires again. Their bullets collide in mid-air! "I've gotten better since you left us."

Holiday, "So have I."

(20:52:12) (PC)_Trent): "Right... Holiday, is this guy YOURs? If so we'll just take out all the punks and leave him to you. Or do we treat him like any other enemy?"

(20:52:27) ((GM)_Prysus): There are still various others involved, at least some who look to be more than just basic Highway Bandits, probably a couple upper level Lt.

(20:55:27) ((GM)_Prysus): Holiday, "He's not important. We didn't come here to focus on scum like this."

Hyena, "Don't dismiss me so easily! You'll pay for those words!"

(20:56:52) ((GM)_Prysus): And initiative?

(20:57:38) (PC)_Trent): *hands Sky her swords.* "I know it's against the law... but... technically we're no longer in that town anymore "

(20:57:44) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (12)+1=13.

(20:57:56) ((GM)_Prysus): Holiday, Hyena, Sky, Evrym2, Aerial, Lt. 1, Lt. 2, Highway Bandits ...

(20:58:05) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d820 and gets (237)=237.

(20:58:12) ((GM)_Prysus): Oops!

(20:58:17) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 8d20 and gets (1,16,11,15,3,18,4,15)=83.

(20:59:39) ((GM)_Prysus): One Lt. will get Trent and the other Sky. Trent, roll a D2 (and he gets the Lt. of that number).

(20:59:53) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d2 and gets (1)=1.

(21:00:06) ((GM)_Prysus): Trent gets Lt. 1, who has the high initiative.

(21:00:51) ((GM)_Prysus): I'm going to roll to strike, then I'll type after you defense ...

(21:01:00) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (16)+5=21.

(21:01:24) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (4)+8=12.

(21:07:00) ((GM)_Prysus): Lt. 1 leaps up and comes down towards Trent. Trent manages to get his sword up and parry the first attack. There is a quick follow up attack which Trent just manages to get his sword up to defend again. The strength of the Lt. is pushing down on the blade. His blade is split in two, with a tube about half the blade length in its center. The blades are rather thick, so the tube still looks small and kind of fashionable in design. As Trent starts to push back, the Lt. tilts his blade towards Trent. There is a bang as Trent feels a pain in his shoulder. The smaller tube in the center appears to be a barrel, but the bullet only grazed Trent's shoulder. Trent is able to push it up and away before he can get another shot. Quickly the gun blade comes around and slashes against one of Trent's legs.

(21:08:34) ((GM)_Prysus): Hyena (attack), Holiday (defense), Highway Bandits, Evrym2 (in that order) ...

(21:08:37) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 4d20 and gets (5,18,7,4)=34.

(21:09:27) ((GM)_Prysus): Note: Just because someone is attacking you doesn't mean you can't attack someone else. That is who the NPC are attacking, but you are not bound to that if you want to attack someone else.

(21:09:41) (PC)_Trent): *grunts in pain, and slashes into the Lt, aiming for his arm*

(21:09:54) (PC)_Trent): (He's fine with attacking whoever is attacking him. )

(21:09:58) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (14)+8=22.

(21:10:32) ((GM)_Prysus): The Hyena attacks Holiday who is able to duck and roll, it looks like he's getting ready to attack back. Meanwhile, Evrym2 is protecting Aerial from any attacks of the Highway Bandits, but it looks like he's also taking damage doing so, having to use himself often as a dove (human) shield.

(21:10:46) ((GM)_Prysus): The Lt. will try to parry Trent.

(21:10:48) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (17)+6=23.

(21:13:07) ((GM)_Prysus): The Lt. is really quite skilled, and the pain in the shoulder of Trent causes his attack to not be quite as good as it could have been. Pain, that's an interesting feeling for a video game. If the game were really just Lester and not him then he may have actually been much quicker on the attack. Fortunately, pain of the game and the pain in real life are not quite the same. The game is designed to be epic, and even a gun shot can be little more than a minor would.

(21:13:53) ((GM)_Prysus): Sky, Lt. 2, Aerial will heal (so no rolls for her), Holiday (attack), Hyena (defense) ...

(21:13:55) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 4d20 and gets (17,11,14,17)=59.

(21:18:14) ((GM)_Prysus): The other Lt. has two swords, much like Sky, and the two lock into combat. The game seems to have actually chosen its match ups with a certain degree of cinematics in minds, mirrors almost. Lester can choose between a Sword or a Gun when he's introduced, and his opponent his a sword gun. Sky has two swords, and so does her opponent. For now though she appears to have the edge. She is likely a little higher level than required for this level making it look like she's having an easier time. Meanwhile, Aerial takes the time to heal Trent. As for Holiday, he fires at the hyena who fires another bullet to cancel out Holiday's. That seems to be his standard defense, at least against gun shots.

(21:18:38) ((GM)_Prysus): Lt. 1 attacks Trent ...

(21:18:41) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (15)+5=20.

(21:19:07) (PC)_Trent): *brings his sword up to parry (instead of dodging) *

(21:19:18) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (13)+11=24.

(21:20:12) (PC)_Trent): "Thank you, Aerial," *is back at full speed after the healing and goes to stab deep into the Lt.*

(21:20:16) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 1d20 and gets (12)+8=20.

(21:20:19) ((GM)_Prysus): The sword is quickly parried by Trent. By deflecting it away it also helps to eliminate the opportunity for the Lt. to use the gun option to take a shot.

(21:21:00) ((GM)_Prysus): I'll roll for the others (then come back to Trent). Hyena (attack), Holiday (defense), Highway Bandits, Evrym2 ...

(21:21:03) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 4d20 and gets (12,9,18,12)=51.

(21:22:44) ((GM)_Prysus): And okay, the Lt. defense against Trent ...

(21:22:46) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (4)+6=10.

(21:25:18) ((GM)_Prysus): Holiday tries to avoid another shot, then gets hit in one shoulder and then the other by the hyena. Meanwhile, Evrym2 continues to protect Aerial from the Highway Bandits, but their numbers and ranged style of attacks appear to be a bit too much for him! The player has shifted Aerial into attack mode to use her herbs to neutralize the enemy to help him out.

(21:25:40) (PC)_Trent): *darts in quickly, while the LT brings his sword up and points the blade, Trent's own sword slides in a forward thrust, aiming for the chest of the bandit, slicing deeply. Trent pulls the sword out and away quickly, his army parrying/deflecting the sword of the enemy.*

(21:27:11) ((GM)_Prysus): Sky, Lt. 2, Aerial (attack), Highway Bandits (save), Holiday (attack), Hyena (defense) ...

(21:27:18) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 6d20 and gets (15,18,8,8,13,7)=69.

(21:32:02) ((GM)_Prysus): The blades of Sky and the other Lt. continue to clash. She knocks the blades up and away. It looks like she has the easy hit, but as she moves in the Lt. flips back and, as he does, lands a kick into the jaw of Sky. She took for granted she had that one and it ended up making her pay for it. Meanwhile, Aerial manages to put one of the Bandits to sleep which should help Evrym2 (hopefully). As for Holiday, he fires a few more shots. Again the Hyena counters with his own. Each of his bullets intercept the bullets coming right at him. He smiles, knowing he has the best of Holiday in that regards. After a double ricochet one of the other shots of Holiday hits its mark right into the side of the hyena. The hyena was able to intercept direct attacks, but didn't see the ricochet shot in the flurry of bullets.

(21:32:13) ((GM)_Prysus): Lt. 1 attack on Trent ...

(21:32:16) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (2)+5=7.

(21:32:35) ((GM)_Prysus): Hyena (attack), Holiday (defense), Highway Bandits, Evrym2 ...

(21:32:38) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 4d20 and gets (6,19,2,7)=34.

(21:34:03) (PC)_Trent): *parry, then attack*

(21:34:08) ChatBot: (PC)_Trent) rolls 2d20 and gets (11,2)=13.

(21:34:15) (PC)_Trent): ( LOL )

(21:34:46) ((GM)_Prysus): With the added help of Aerial Evrym2 is able to defend much better, and even launch an attack against one of the Highway Bandits! The one now sleeping had them at a flanking position, not letting Evrym2 attack without leaving Aerial vulnerable. However, with that one asleep, Evrym2 can now advance on the others, attack and defend at the same time.

(21:34:58) ((GM)_Prysus): Lt. 1 defense ...

(21:35:00) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 1d20 and gets (15)=15.

(21:35:36) (PC)_Trent): (yeah, he beats my 10 )

(21:37:17) ((GM)_Prysus): The Lt. attacks Trent, who quickly knocks it to the side. Before the Lt. can recover his blade Trent moves in for the attack. Quickly the Lt. leaps back and away. As he does he fires another shot from his gun sword. Trent maneuvers to the side, avoiding the shots and preparing for his next attack.

(21:38:00) ((GM)_Prysus): Sky, Lt. 2, Aerial (attack), Highway Bandit (save/defense), Holiday (attack), Hyena (defense) ...

(21:38:03) ChatBot: ((GM)_Prysus) rolls 6d20 and gets (5,4,14,1,18,4)=46.

(21:38:39) ((GM)_Prysus): Typing ...

(21:45:31) ((GM)_Prysus): Sky and the other Lt. continue fighting. The battle is getting more even all the time, and there is little give on either side. Meanwhile, Aerial appears to have learned a new Special Technique mid-battle and is able to put all the other Highway Bandits to sleep at the same time! As for the main battle the Hyena takes a shot at Holiday again. He quickly evades behind a spinning wheel for gambling. The Hyena starts to aim to try and get a shot behind the turn wheel when the whole thing suddenly is knocked off and comes rolling right at him! Barely able to dodge out of the way. Before he can recover he finds Holiday in front of him, point blank range. Two loud shots can be heard as Holiday hits him too close to use his typical method to intercept them. Both shots plunge into the chest of the Hyena who falls back and hits the floor.

(21:45:56) ((GM)_Prysus): ((Holiday rolled a Crit for defense, and another Crit for his attack.))

(21:53:17) ((GM)_Prysus): Hyena winces. Even as badly injured as he is he starts to raise his weapon back towards Holiday. Without effort Holiday steps on the arm pinning it back down to the ground. Hyena, "Don't you look down on me! You weren't there! You abandoned us! You have no right!"

Holiday, "You're right. I left. You should have accepted it instead of living in my shadow."

Hyena, "YOUR shadow?! I was always better than you ... and I'll prove it!" With his other hand he slides out a small concealable dagger and goes to stab Holiday.

Holiday pulls the trigger and ends it. "Nothing personal, but you led the Cowboys down a path to self destruction. That I can't forgive."

(21:54:03) ((GM)_Prysus): With the help of Holiday, Evrym2, and Aerial both Sky and Trent are able to defeat the two Lt.

(21:55:56) (PC)_Trent): *helps take down the mooks, and takes a few deep breaths, and nods to Holiday.* "You alright?" *not meaning physically*

(21:55:58) ((GM)_Prysus): As many others get alternate weapons (such as Sky with the Zion Blade, the one she gave Trent, the second she's using now, and similar with Holiday's guns and others), Trent (technically Lester) has the option to take the sword gun as an alternate (or even main) weapon.

(21:58:11) ((GM)_Prysus): Holiday, "I'm alive, aren't I? The past is best left in the past. I live in the present."

(21:58:31) (PC)_Trent): *takes a Sword gun*

(21:58:54) (PC)_Trent): (as an alternate, at least until he can use paired. )

(22:00:57) (PC)_Trent): "That's... ... okay, maybe some have a harder time letting go of the past than others. I know it would have seriously messed me up for awhile. But if you're really okay... "

(22:05:50) ((GM)_Prysus): Holiday turns and leaves. Sky looks to Trent as Holiday's back exits the doors and tells him, "I saw where he grew up. He had nothing, and the only way to survive was to take what you need. In a life like that he learned to never trust anyone. Being with us I think is hard on him, because it goes against everything he's ever known."

(22:07:26) (PC)_Trent): *hesitates.* "I see. I don't like to see any of my allies or friends upset... but all I can do is be there for him... though I don't think he trusts me..." oO(Rightfully so.) "He trusts you though. "

(22:07:39) (PC)_Trent): "And so do I "

(22:10:40) ((GM)_Prysus): Sky, "Thanks. I trust you too, and Holiday. You've both earned it."

(22:10:54) (PC)_Trent): L

(22:12:20) (PC)_Trent): "That's... ... the nicest thing that anyone who hasn't set me up ever said to me. "

(22:18:56) ((GM)_Prysus): Mayor Bay: "That was so ... amazing! " *He approaches Sky with what looks like intent to hug her.*

Sky raises her sword towards him. He stops dead in his tracks with a very worried look on his face. She lowers the sword and smiles, still in the black dress that is rather tight fitting. "Always remember this day: A woman helped save your life. "

(22:19:38) (PC)_Trent): "Two of them, actually."

(22:19:56) (PC)_Trent): "Aerial. <_< >_> She took out quite a few."

(22:20:21) ((GM)_Prysus): ((Technically, she only put them to sleep, but yes! She did a very nice job too. ))

(22:22:48) ((GM)_Prysus): Sky, "I think we've earned our stay here. Now if you all don't mind, I think I'm going to slip out of this dress and put some real clothes on."

Pig, "Can I come? "

Evrym2 steps inbetween them, "My secondary programming requires me to protect Sky. I'm afraid I cannot allow that."

(22:24:14) (PC)_Trent): *grins.*

(22:24:24) (PC)_Trent): "Nicely done, Evrym2."

(22:24:29) (PC)_Trent): *softly*

(22:25:29) ((GM)_Prysus): ((And call it here? Not trying to cut you off, but I think I've done all I can think of. I can still respond though if you'd like to continue a bit longer. ))

(22:26:19) (PC)_Trent): (good place to call it. )

(22:26:25) (PC)_Trent): (thank you for running! *hugs* )

(22:26:37) ((GM)_Prysus): ((Thanks for playing. *Hugs.))
