Space Mercenaries: Game 2

(18:37:23) ChatBot: Prysus is now known as (GM)(Prysus).

(18:37:44) (GM)(Prysus): So, who else would like to run tonight? What? No one? Aww ... :(... guess that leaves just me then. :P

(18:38:01) (PC)Jordan): teehee

(18:43:16) (GM)(Prysus): Typing ...

(18:55:49) (GM)(Prysus): A space station holds position near the yellow sun of a planet. Stars twinkle brightly in the distance.

System: Tardanis System.
Location: Solar Marker 49827.
Time: 1700 hours.

Three men in white uniforms sit around. The walls, chairs, and the rest of the interior look just as sterile of color in their pure white color with only the computer screen and monitors showing any color. All three men look rather relaxed, one even with his feet and white boots kicked up onto a console. As they talk a small red light blinks on one of the consoles.

"Looks like another system burn out. This one in the communications network."

"Probably a solar flare burning out another chip."

"I'm not picking up recent solar activity on sensors."

"Meh, doesn't matter. I'll go check it out."

(18:56:16) (GM)(Prysus): One of them heads off while the other two continue talking. The worker heads to a different level of the station. He opens a control panel, and the circuit board looks burnt out. When he goes to remove it he pulls his hand back with a wince. "Ah ... still hot." He shakes his hand and then sucks on his finger. "All right, circuit TC210." He stands up and walks off. As he does something moves behind him.

(18:56:24) (GM)(Prysus): The worker heads into the storage room to room to get a replacement. He looks through the properly stored units until he finds another TC210. As he pulls it out of its stored casing he looks towards the door. There's nothing. He starts to make his way towards the door, but when he does he hears something and looks back into the room. Nothing. He starts to leave, but then stops and looks a second time. With a scream he moves back and closes the door as he falls to the ground. The doors close and there is a loud boom as something slams against the door. Still trembling the man picks himself up quickly and activates the internal coms. "There's something else down here!"

(18:56:25) (GM)(Prysus): On the deck above the voice comes through the speakers. "Hello?! Are there you there? Connely? Jeff?!" There is no response. Just silence.

Back near the storage room the worker continues trying to get the others on the com, "Come on! This isn't the time to be playing around?! Guys ..." Then, he lets go of the button and shakily turns around. Everything goes black.

(18:56:28) (GM)(Prysus): ((Done for now.))

(19:00:05) (PC)Deadeye): *will still be chilling in the same place attempting to remain outta sight*

(19:00:57) (PC)Jordan): *finishes taking a shower, and relaxes in his quarters. Then, making sure noone is watching... takes an Astral walk to go watch a certain performance in the civvie section O:-D*

(19:01:03) (GM)(Prysus): There's a barren planet with two domes, and a bleak dark red sky.

System: Tardanis System.
Location: Planet Alur.
Time: 1800 hours.

Many of places on this quiet planet are already closing up. There are a few places that stay open later, mainly those that serve food or alcohol. Not much happens here. A group of soldiers in the military dome are planning on sneaking out tonight and heading for the Rusty Nail. This is the bar's grand reopening after being shut down as a result of two very foolish officers' actions.

(19:01:26) (PC)Jordan): (LOL!)

(19:02:22) (GM)(Prysus): During raids, most common when some soldier messes up, gets shut down often enough, but never stays closed for longer than a couple weeks, and quite often only a few days.

(19:03:54) (GM)(Prysus): And are there any plans before I really let things get started?

(19:04:15) (GM)(Prysus): Besides what's already said of course. :)

(19:04:25) (PC)Jordan): no plans. :)

(19:04:46) (PC)Deadeye): (none)

(19:05:01) (GM)(Prysus): Okay, I'll do a bit more typing ...

(19:19:26) (GM)(Prysus): Bo locks up the shop and heads into the back room. He takes a seat and just looks tired.

The Rusty Nail is as busy as ever. An off worlder my find the sanitary conditions here appauling, but to a local it's the only place where there's something to do, especially at night. Having just been closed down, every person in the dome who's been missing out on getting drunk are crammed in here. Jessica Hayes moves around the tables getting people their drinks, and making small talk along the way making half the men present feel special. Sometimes during the night there is a break from service where she'll actually dance on the bar (fully clothed of course). The music blares loudly making it difficult to hear the person next to them, and even though no one is getting their drinks during the performance no one seems to complain, but cheers in a rousing ovation.

(19:19:35) (GM)(Prysus): Outside the red haired woman from the cafe, Rose Scott, is talking with an elder woman. While talking the little girl moves from the side of the old woman and gives Rose a hug. Rose picks hefts her up into her arms. "Thanks for looking after her for me," says Rose to the older woman. The two younger women head off.

"What's that, big sis'?" asks the little girl as she looks up at the sky.

"What's wha--at ..." Rose starts to respond, but then trails off as she catches a glimpse. In the dark red sky above a ship starts to form out of thin air. With the angle and the red sky, the ship just looks a shadowy black.

Others in the street stop and start to look as well. Mumbles can be heard, "Is that a kazire ship?" "What are they doing here?" They just stand there, staring in awe. And then ...

(19:19:36) (GM)(Prysus): In the distance there's an explosion. An entire building just went up. There's the sound of a sizzle in the air not too far away, then another explosion. Rose puts a hand over the head of her little sister. She starts to run, as do most of the others in the area. Where they're going to run is another question entirely. After all, this is a military dome.

(19:19:39) (GM)(Prysus): ((Done for now.))

(19:23:59) (PC)Jordan): *quickly gets back to his body, puts his space suit on, grabs his weapons and emergency packs and starts running out to where emergency would normally send him.*

(19:24:19) (PC)Jordan): (wherever his group is supposed to assemble in an emergency. I'm assuming sirens are going off?)

(19:25:23) (GM)(Prysus): Err ... yes. Sirens will start going off. I meant to include that, but forgot. When the fit hits the shan, sirens are customary. :)

(19:25:44) (PC)Jordan): (no problem. :)) *runs to the assembly point to be with his unit.*

(19:28:54) (PC)Deadeye): *will drop the invisibility and follow Bo to the back room* (not sure if in range to realize something is going on or not)

(19:30:17) (GM)(Prysus): And yes, in a domed environment where entire buildings are blowing up and others moving in panic, I'll say it's safe to say they know something is going on.

(19:31:38) (PC)Deadeye): "um Bo what's going on out there" *instinctively makes a portal on the closes shiney surface and drags out the sniper rifle*

(19:37:32) (GM)(Prysus): Jordan: Untis are being rounded up and deployed. Jordan's unit is being deployed to the Civilian Dome, Grid A6. The civilian grid includes businesses such as Lock & Load, Of Kings & Queens, and Luke's General Store.

(19:38:05) (GM)(Prysus): Deadeye: Bo looks out the windows of the shop, though he hasn't even stood up yet. "Don't know. Doesn't look good."

(19:38:56) ChatBot: glitterboy2098 enters the channel.

(19:39:22) (PC)Jordan): *goes with the unit, mobilizing and making sure everyone is in a space suit.*

(19:39:59) (PC)Deadeye): "I'm gonna go investigate... " *tuns back on the invisibility and moves out the front door and heads torwards the rusty nail*

(19:41:03) (GM)(Prysus): For note to Deadeye, the Rusty Nail is not the center of the attack (merely included in the scene because of Jordan and military units in general). The attack is actually going on all across the city/dome.

(19:41:40) (PC)Deadeye): *then will move to the nearest source of the attack and try to get a look at who/what it is*

(19:43:28) (PC)Jordan): *gets the group moving, and any civillians they encounter, will direct to the evacuation points /etc.*

(19:45:49) (GM)(Prysus): The dome's do have shelters, but not really evacuation points (no more than a normal city does). The two domes are connected, and everything else leads to outside, nor are there enough ships to house every person on the planet.

(19:46:39) (PC)Jordan): (Ah, okay. THen would direct them to shelters. :))

(19:47:49) (PC)Jordan): *rushes to A6, looking for threats.*

(19:48:18) (GM)(Prysus): And for simplicity, I'm putting both Deadeye and Jordan into the same area of the city (interaction far from necessary at this point, just stating so you get the feel for similar things happening, though maybe a bit away from each other).

(19:50:16) (GM)(Prysus): Jordan is part of Blue Eagle, the standard military. His unit, Blue 17, consists of 10 soldiers and is being supplemented with Blue 18 who will be working in close proximity, though still two separate units.

(19:51:30) (PC)Jordan): (okay, noted. :))

(19:53:56) (PC)Deadeye): (plus one odd little bug!)

(19:54:11) (PC)Jordan): (with a really big gun :P)

(19:56:44) (GM)(Prysus): Deadeye meanwhile moves between buildings. His invisibility lets him move unseen and without hinderance. As he comes out of an opening he sees rubble in the street from the destruction. He seems some strange looking creature that looks as foreign to this world as the ship floating overhead. Shadowy black with curved spiked protrusions extending from the body and shoulders. Four legs, and over one arm there is a long tube. A group of humans run. The alien points the long tube attached to the arm. Blue-white energy extends from the tip of the tube and hits nearby. There's an explosion at the point of impact. Buildings destroyed from the single blast, and the people who were once moving appear to be gone.

(19:58:26) (PC)Jordan): "Alright, Blue 17, let's secure this area. Let's get the civillians to shelters, look for anyone injured. If anyone sees an attacker, call ASAP." *to the communications specialist > * "Keep your ears on the radio chatter and let us know if someone figures out who the attackers are."

(19:59:00) (PC)Deadeye): .o(crap I don't want to get involved with this)

(20:01:01) (PC)Deadeye): *scans the area and watches the creature to see if it is acquiring more unarmed targets*

(20:01:41) (GM)(Prysus): Deadeye, 2D6.

(20:02:05) ChatBot: (PC)Deadeye) rolls 2d6 and gets (4,3)=7.

(20:02:48) (PC)Jordan): *takes the group in the direction of the nearest explosion, keeping to cover as much as possible.*

(20:03:26) (GM)(Prysus): And I was just comparing that against Mind Stat and/or any possibility of skill bonuses.

(20:04:22) (PC)Deadeye): (/4 mind, nothing I see for bonuses)

(20:04:31) (GM)(Prysus): Agreed.

(20:04:49) (GM)(Prysus): So I'll say he does see the alien continue it's attack, but I won't give better details than that. :)

(20:06:05) (PC)Deadeye): *squirms slightly and chirps debating weather to save innocent humans or stay out of sight and not involved*

(20:06:29) (GM)(Prysus): Jordan: As Blue 17 continues moving through the area they see someone between two of the buildings. Female, holding a small girl in her arms. She looks injured.

(20:08:28) (PC)Deadeye): *will take aim at the tube portion of the weapon being used and attempt to shoot it when it is charged and about to go off* .oO(I'm going to regret this I'm sure)

(20:08:44) (PC)Jordan): "Cover me." *moves in, making sure to go from cover to cover to get to the civillian.* "Can you walk, ma'am?" *appraises her condition.*

(20:09:27) ChatBot: (PC)Jordan) rolls 2d6 and gets (1,2)=3.

(20:09:37) ChatBot: (PC)Deadeye) rolls 2d6 and gets (4,6)=10.

(20:09:41) (PC)Jordan): ( sweet! passed my medical diagnosis)

(20:09:46) (PC)Deadeye): (wow lag)

(20:10:08) (PC)Deadeye): (seemed dice bot is lagging on me a little bit oh well)

(20:13:12) (GM)(Prysus): The woman has short red hair, and it looks like she's cut up, probably a little too close to one of the explosions. There's a gash in her side, and the back of her shirt is torn up with minor burns on her flesh. Her wounds don't look pressing and lethal, but left unchecked could result in blood loss and infection. The little girl appears okay from the glance of an eye, but is either sleeping or unconscious, but doesn't appear to be anything serious. The older of the two, which is probably about Jordan's age, can probably stand and walk, though with injuries it'll probably be difficult to do for long stretches.

While Jordan checks on the woman, Sam looks up in the sky. "I think ... I know who's attacking."
8o

(20:13:37) (PC)Jordan): *looks up*

(20:14:58) (GM)(Prysus): As mentioned previously, there's a kazire ship floating over the dome. The angle would make it harder to see from the military dome, and Earth technology has never been able to pick up their ships on sensors.

(20:15:07) (PC)Deadeye): *will definitely move locations after taking the shot regardless of the results to keep from having his location compromised and get hit with return fire*

(20:15:28) (GM)(Prysus): ((At least not without help of the advanced sensors linked to the Solar Marks.))

(20:16:53) (PC)Jordan): "Why are the Kazire's attacking? :O" *then shakes his head. Orders communications to report to the main base, then orders two to take the civillians to the nearest shelter.*

(20:23:55) (GM)(Prysus): Deadeye takes his shot and starts to move. If he hurt the alien, he can't tell. There's no sign of damage, but with just the shadowy black color it's hard to see much on their bodies at all. His attack does seem to have garnered some attention though. As he starts to move he can hear that sizling sound in the air, and then another explosion somewhere behind him. Whatever it attacked, it wasn't him.

With Jordan, the woman starts to get herself off the ground, but her moves are definitely sluggish and restricted. She keeps the young girl in her arms. Communications reports in, and over the radio command reports back. "We're getting mixed reports from all over. The entire civilian dome is being wiped out, including the shelters. We're unable to contact Earth. We think the Solar Mark relay is disabled."

Sam, "The Solar Mark ... if something's wrong with that, they said they'd wipe out all life in the system, and another planet of their choosing."
:?

(20:25:39) (PC)Jordan): "Alright... new mission... we get as many people as we can evacuated off this rock!"

(20:26:04) (PC)Jordan): "Grab those two and let's get out of here!"

(20:26:27) (PC)Deadeye): .oO(well I think I might have better odds than unarmed humans running for cover) *will pause temporarily to scope out the are where the attack seemed to come from*

(20:31:48) ChatBot: glitterboy2098 has been logged out (Timeout).

(20:31:50) (GM)(Prysus): As Deadeye gets into a new position to scope out the situation he can hear the sound of gunfire coming from behind him, automatic weapons. Another blast from the alien weapon.

Jordan, over the coms he can hear Blue 18 reporting, "Encountered the enemy. We were attacked on site. Cover is useless against their weapons. Our weapons are having little affect on it."

(20:35:03) (PC)Deadeye): .o(I wonder where their big weapons are...) *will move cautiously shadowing the first target and wait for another opportunity to fire off a round while the aliens weapon is being discharged and move out again*

(20:35:21) ChatBot: (PC)Deadeye) rolls 2d6 and gets (1,3)=4.

(20:36:17) (PC)Jordan): *curses, orders 2 people to take the civillians towards evactuation (Yes, they can't evactuate whole city, but might be able to evacuate some!) *and heads over to Blue 18 to back them up (or get them a clear path to get away) *

(20:36:18) (GM)(Prysus): And Deadeye, I'm linking the two scenes (just so you both get a feel for what's going on from your respective positions).

(20:37:49) (PC)Deadeye): (i figured that the high tech aliens wouldn't resort to automatic fire :D)

(20:40:22) (GM)(Prysus): And okay, just to make sure I know what everyone is up to ... what are players doing right now?

(20:40:30) (GM)(Prysus): I want to make sure I've followed thus far. :)

(20:41:05) (PC)Jordan): will send 2 guys to evactuate the civillians, and will try to help Blue 18 either take the thing down or escape it.

(20:42:41) (PC)Deadeye): (taking the shots at the alien in range trying to divert his attention from unarmed innocent people)

(20:43:36) (GM)(Prysus): And unless you object, I'm going to have Sam as one of the 2 guys (so if I refer to them again it's easier for me).

(20:43:48) (PC)Jordan): (that's fine :))

(20:43:53) (GM)(Prysus): Okay!

(20:49:13) ChatBot: Erinoth enters the channel.

(20:52:00) (GM)(Prysus): Battle scene: The alien marches towards the soldiers. It's arm with the tube attached starts to charge as it aims at a area with a couple soldiers firing from behind cover. Jordan and the eight others come down the other side of the alien and see its back. Whether or not this is a kazire is unclear as no one has ever seen a kazire in person and all they've ever seen up until now is their spaceships. On the other end the Blue 18 unit is effectively pinned down. The alien fires its weapon, and a flash of blue-white energy streaks across the street and slams into the building hitting it with greater impact than a rocket launcher. The air where the attack passed still ripples with waves and a sizzling sound can be heard in the air as if charging the air itself with its energy.

(20:52:24) (GM)(Prysus): Deadeye can be (in general) where he chooses to be in this situation. All would see effectively the same scene.

(20:52:38) (PC)Jordan): "I need a grenade, now."

(20:53:01) (PC)Jordan): *will get a grenade, pull the pin, and teleport it into the middle of the tube.*

(20:53:23) (PC)Jordan): Er, telekenesis it*

(20:53:39) (GM)(Prysus): Ah ... okay.

(20:53:45) (GM)(Prysus): Because I was about to say. :P

(20:53:53) (PC)Jordan): (sorry, wrong televerb :()

(20:53:54) (PC)Deadeye): (close enough to examine it for a weak or unarmored looking area?)

(20:54:15) (GM)(Prysus): Do you have any skills that would let you do so Deadeye?

(20:55:05) (PC)Deadeye): (nothing special but a visual inspection might show something by luck :P)

(20:57:04) (GM)(Prysus): And I'm going to say no luck Deadeye. While in theory you can try anything without the skill, without some type of info to go off of this wn't be one of them.

(20:58:37) (GM)(Prysus): Jordan, roll 2D6.

(20:58:50) (PC)Deadeye): *will just aim for the head not feeling there is any significant damage being done to the weapon as it fires off repeatedly* .o(maybe visible soldiers will make this a touch easier for me)

(20:58:54) ChatBot: (PC)Deadeye) rolls 2d6 and gets (4,4)=8.

(20:59:07) ChatBot: (PC)Jordan) rolls 2d6 and gets (1,5)=6.

(21:00:28) (GM)(Prysus): Okay, a grenade does 15 damage. What does Jordan's rifle do?

(21:01:01) (PC)Deadeye): (30 dmg for deadeye)

(21:01:45) (PC)Jordan): (10)

(21:02:17) ChatBot: Erinoth has been logged out (Timeout).

(21:02:19) (GM)(Prysus): ((Since you're still part of the military with actual military support, I'm granting you a grenade, which is 15 damage. :)))

(21:03:11) (GM)(Prysus): ((Especially since you don't have a grenade in your equipment or special attacks.))

(21:03:59) (GM)(Prysus): Anyways ...

(21:04:31) (PC)Jordan): (Thanks, appreciate it. :)So 15 damage to the middle of the tube)

(21:07:34) (GM)(Prysus): The alien continues its assault. As it does Deadeye takes a shot at it while Jordan manages to telekinetically move a grenade into position as it detonates. When the grenade detonates dead on top of it and the center of its weapon, the alien is consumed in the ensuing explosion of the grenade. When the blast clears the alien is on the floor. Seconds later though, it's already starting to move and get back up. Once again, if it's taken any damage at all it's very hard to tell.

(21:08:27) (PC)Deadeye): *aims at which ever limbs its using to stand up with in attempts to keep it from getting up*

(21:08:36) ChatBot: (PC)Deadeye) rolls 2d6 and gets (3,3)=6.

(21:09:27) (PC)Jordan): "I was really hoping that would work. :("

(21:09:30) (GM)(Prysus): ((Okay, I'm really going to have to ask at this point ... are players planning to stick with this and fight to the death? Whichever way that may go.))

(21:10:00) (PC)Jordan): (No, actually, Jordan wants to clear a path and get 18 out of there)

(21:10:42) (PC)Jordan): (if knocking it down bought enough time for 18 to get clear, I'm good)

(21:10:49) (PC)Deadeye): (no, if deadeye starts taking heat he will definitely retreat but is using the opportunity of pelting it with shots for the moment)

(21:11:46) (GM)(Prysus): ((So basically you're going to wait until it takes a shot at you with an attack that can devastate a building?))

(21:12:25) (PC)Deadeye): (well... hmmm that wasn't thought through so well)

(21:13:34) (PC)Deadeye): (will just try and gauge the damage from this last shot fired and if looks like none taken will probably retreat)

(21:13:37) (GM)(Prysus): As for Jordan, with being knocked down and the time it's taking to get back up ... well, 18 will at least have time to make a run for it. Whether or not they'll have time to get clear ... that's a foot race.

(21:14:06) (GM)(Prysus): You know what Deadeye ... roll 2D6 (mind stat).

(21:14:20) ChatBot: (PC)Deadeye) rolls 2d6 and gets (1,2)=3.

(21:14:27) (PC)Deadeye): (pass!!!!)

(21:14:37) (GM)(Prysus): Wow ... didn't see that one coming. :P

(21:16:04) (PC)Deadeye): (though if the soldiers retreat deadeye wouldn't stay they were his distraction so he could stay hidden and take shots)

(21:16:11) (GM)(Prysus): Deadeye: The alien does look like it's taken some damage, but hard to tell how much and over how much time. It's been attacked by multiple forces here, including an explosiong that knocked it on its arse and multiple shots from his sniper rifle. This alien doesn't seem invulnerable, but it's definitely tough. Whether it can take one more shot and twenty is beyond his ability to tell, and even if they can take this one out there are other battles clearly going on through the city.

(21:16:14) (PC)Jordan): *tries to use telekenesis to jam a grenade as far down the tube as possible.*

(21:16:26) ChatBot: (PC)Jordan) rolls 2d6 and gets (1,6)=7.

(21:17:05) (PC)Jordan): ( attack value / 6 )

(21:18:43) (PC)Deadeye): *sighs and begins retreating while cautiously circle around the alien giving it a very wide space and head back to Bo's to make sure he is okay* .oO(Its like shooting an asteroid, they need to get some serious fire power on this thing)

(21:18:43) (GM)(Prysus): Jordan: He manages to get the grenade in the vacinity, but with the angle of the alien he can't get the grenade towards the tube before the timer goes off and detonates near the alien. The alien is only caught in part of the blast radius. When the alien is standing though, it's not facing towards Blue 18 anymore. Now it's facing in the direction of Jordan and the other members of Blue 17.

(21:19:25) (PC)Jordan): @_@ "RUN!"

(21:22:04) (PC)Jordan): *scatters, bolting for cover.*

(21:22:37) (GM)(Prysus): Jordan, 2D6.

(21:22:40) ChatBot: (GM)(Prysus) rolls 2d6 and gets (1,4)=5.

(21:22:42) ChatBot: (GM)(Prysus) rolls 2d6 and gets (3,6)=9.

(21:23:27) ChatBot: (PC)Jordan) rolls 2d6 and gets (3,2)=5.

(21:25:22) (GM)(Prysus): Jordan and the other members of Blue 17 start to run. Behind them there is the sound of stone, plaster, and countless other materials ripping into millions of pieces behind them. The blast hit behind them, fired blindly through a wall, and that blast ripped through the building behind them and into the next one. Luckily they were far enough away not to get caught in the blast range, but they can still hear the sound in the air and practically feel the burning against their flesh just from the aftermath.

(21:25:26) (GM)(Prysus): Sam (over com), "We've been cut off from the Military Dome. Multiple enemy making their way through the tunnel. What the -- shit!!" There's the sound of an explosion and static over the com. In the distance, those looking towards the military dome can see a series of explosions going down the tunnel. Those explosions didn't look like a result of the alien weaponry though, but actual charges being detonated all along the path.

(21:25:55) ChatBot: (Lurker)(Chroni) enters the channel.

(21:28:19) (GM)(Prysus): ((And no, I'm not ignoring Deadeye, but his invisibility has spared him being a main target thus far.))

(21:28:51) (PC)Jordan): "They must be cutting us off and evacuating!"

(21:28:57) (PC)Deadeye): (*is glad they can't or haven't seen through it yet* :D)

(21:29:00) (PC)Jordan): "Anyone know of a ship on this side of the dome?"

(21:30:39) (PC)Deadeye): (there is a few in the air :P)

(21:30:47) (PC)Jordan): (Har har. :P)

(21:33:50) (GM)(Prysus): Alex Matthews (to Jordan), "Maybe something in the trash yard. Some civvie might have something, but this is Alur. No one comes here because they want to. If someone had a ship they'd have probably left years ago."

(21:34:50) (PC)Jordan): "Yeah... alright... let's try for the trashyard. There might be something we can use, if nothing else. See if we can't find one of the ships the big guys use."

(21:35:29) (GM)(Prysus): Deadeye makes it back to Luke's General Store. He can make it inside. All the front windows are shattered. It looks like at least some people have taken various items for the store, looting what they can either for food or for supplies. There's no sign of Bo in the front, but making his way to the back he sees the man sleeping on the cot. He looks fine, just totally knocked out.

(21:36:08) (PC)Jordan): *heads to the trash yard, regrouping with as many survivors of 17 & 18 as possible.*

(21:36:58) (PC)Deadeye): *shakes him to wake him* "Hey!"

(21:38:20) (GM)(Prysus): Shaking him seems to have no affect on his alien comrade.

(21:38:56) (PC)Deadeye): *pauses and remembers how he was awoken and grabs a cup of water and splashes Bo with it*

(21:39:21) (GM)(Prysus): Roll 1D6 Deadeye (the higher the better).

(21:39:47) ChatBot: (PC)Deadeye) rolls 1d6 and gets (3)=3.

(21:40:44) (GM)(Prysus): Bo half wakes up, or maybe a little less than half. Part of the body seems to be moving, but he looks barely conscious and hard to tell how coherent his mind is at the moment. At best he's barely functioning.

(21:41:26) (GM)(Prysus): Jordan, will you go looking for Sam and the other member of Blue 17 (who were escorting the 2 civvies)?

(21:41:28) (PC)Deadeye): .o(wow, what I would give for a good nights sleep like that)

(21:42:17) (PC)Jordan): yes, will try to regroup with them too :)

(21:42:18) (PC)Deadeye): *sits on something near a window to keep a look out of what is coming if anything*

(21:42:47) (PC)Deadeye): .o(I wonder if he was in real danger if he would pass out that much)

(21:44:17) (GM)(Prysus): Last Jordan heard Sam and the others were near the tunnel (right before the explosion).

(21:44:31) (PC)Jordan): *tries to go that way.*

(21:44:55) (GM)(Prysus): Jordan, roll a D6.

(21:45:01) ChatBot: (PC)Jordan) rolls 1d6 and gets (1)=1.

(21:45:07) (PC)Jordan): ( :()

(21:45:59) (GM)(Prysus): Blue 17 starts to come around the corner in that direction, and as they do they see another alien like the one they encountered earlier heading down the street cutting off their path.

(21:46:13) (GM)(Prysus): I'll give you the benefit of the doubt you haven't been spotted yet.

(21:46:40) (PC)Jordan): *signals a stop, and hides/goes to cover.*

(21:47:33) (PC)Jordan): *uses telekenesis + grenade to make an explosion on another side of the building to lure the thing away while his team makes a dash for it.*

(21:48:12) (GM)(Prysus): Err ... wait ... going to hide/cover, or trying to make a distraction to run passed it?

(21:48:25) (PC)Jordan): (both)

(21:48:39) (PC)Jordan): (hide cover, then once it's lured away, will run for it)

(21:49:52) (GM)(Prysus): ((Sorry, mind's having trouble processing this one.))

(21:50:05) (GM)(Prysus): ((I'm sure it's really simple, but for some reason I'm not getting it.))

(21:50:51) (PC)Jordan): (okay. First they're hiding. Action 1. Then he's going to create a distraction somewhere else, to cause the creature to go investigate (away from where they currently are). That's action 2. Action 3, while the alien is off investigating, will make a run for it.)

(21:51:23) (GM)(Prysus): Deadeye, any other action?

(21:52:03) (PC)Deadeye): (nope doesn't seem like he's going to wake up on his own so will just keep watch for now)

(21:52:51) (GM)(Prysus): ((Bo went into a hibernation. O:-D))

(21:53:18) (GM)(Prysus): Jordan, roll 2D6 (for how well he can pull off his distraction).

(21:53:26) ChatBot: (PC)Jordan) rolls 2d6 and gets (6,6)=12.

(21:53:32) (PC)Jordan): ( :()

(21:54:10) (GM)(Prysus): Jordan, the alien must be aware of the Evil Overlord Tips which involves when you hear something coming from one direction, investigate the other way.

(21:54:46) (PC)Jordan): 8o

(21:55:26) (PC)Jordan): (As the medic PC, it's my job to say: "RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!" )

(21:55:46) (GM)(Prysus): (( :D))

(21:56:51) (PC)Jordan): *Runs for it.*

(21:56:55) (PC)Jordan): "RUN!"

(21:57:03) (PC)Jordan): "Scatter and regroup!"

(21:57:11) (GM)(Prysus): Roll Body stat.

(21:57:14) ChatBot: (GM)(Prysus) rolls 2d6 and gets (4,5)=9.

(21:57:15) ChatBot: (GM)(Prysus) rolls 2d6 and gets (6,6)=12.

(21:57:16) ChatBot: (PC)Jordan) rolls 2d6 and gets (5,4)=9.

(21:57:26) (GM)(Prysus): Lucky for you the thing is damn slow. :P

(21:57:28) (PC)Jordan): (I hope the 12 was the attack :?)

(21:57:31) (GM)(Prysus): ((It rolled the 12. :P))

(21:57:38) (PC)Jordan): (Phew!)

(21:58:01) (GM)(Prysus): And that wasn't the attack, but it did approach their location to investigate.

(21:58:07) (PC)Jordan): *runs for his life, then regroups and continues on, trying to communicate with Sam.*

(21:58:11) (GM)(Prysus): And it was slow in doing so, and everyone was able to run faster.

(21:58:15) (PC)Jordan): "Sam, can you hear me?"

(21:58:20) (PC)Jordan): (ah, okay :))

(21:58:35) (GM)(Prysus): And ...

(21:58:42) (GM)(Prysus): Before I continue, how long does everyone have?

(22:00:39) (PC)Jordan): should probably call it soon, actually >.>

(22:00:42) (PC)Deadeye): (30 minutes to an hour)

(22:01:18) (GM)(Prysus): All right, if you want to call it soon, we can call it here. I'll pick up next week with the soldiers scattering and Deadeye keeping watch.

(22:01:30) (GM)(Prysus): I can continue, but I don't want to push anyone too late.

(22:02:15) (PC)Jordan): okay. :)

(22:02:30) (PC)Jordan): Thanks for running! :D

(22:02:51) (PC)Deadeye): yup thanks indeed
