Space Mercenaries: Game 3
(18:14:54)
(PC)Shepard):
Howdy.
(18:15:28)
Prysus:
Um ... I'm not starting for 15 minutes.
(18:17:23)
(PC)Shepard):
okay. (18:32:25) (PC)Shepard): back (18:32:29) (PC)Deadeye): wb
(18:32:44)
Prysus:
Welcome back. (18:32:50) ChatBot: Prysus is now known as (GM)(Prysus).
(18:33:12)
(PC)Shepard):
(and ready (18:33:28) (PC)Deadeye): (as am I) (18:33:37) (GM)(Prysus): Typing ...
(18:49:52)
(GM)(Prysus):
There's a planet with a bleak red sky there are two domes on the surface,
surrounded by nothing but barren life. The tunnel connecting the two domes is
shattered, debris set out across the barren rock outside with fires still
burning. Hovering overhead of the civilian dome is a large kazire ship. (18:50:01) (GM)(Prysus): In a different part of the city, an alien marches down one of the streets. Shepard waits behind the corner of a building as the alien moves out of view. As Blue 17 and the survivorsr of Blue 18 headed to meet up with the two members of Blue 17 escorting a couple of civvies. On the way though, they encountered one of the aliens. The entire unit split up, divide and regroup. For now though, they're all alone. Shepard is in the clear for now, but somewhere out there is the rest of his team, as well as Sam and the civvies, if they survived the explosion and the other aliens moving throughout the city. (18:50:03) (GM)(Prysus): Deadeye sits in the shop, protecting the alien who took him in, Bo Fletcher, or at least that's the name the humans gave him, who has entered into a deep sleep at just about the same time the aliens first started to arrive. Outside the shattered windows and beyond the half looted shop he can see the chaos in the city continuing. Off in the distance another building just got destroyed. Coming down the steet is another military soldier, running. As he passes the shop he turns, leaping through the already cleared window. As he comes through the window he goes into a roll and ends up on his feet. His momentum carries him right passed the cloaked Deadeye, oblivious to the bug's presence. Coming around the corner are one of the aliens destroying the city. From what he's seen of these aliens, they've been wiping out everything and everyone in their path, leaving nothing standing in their wake. Probable that this alien is after the soldier and he's taken shelter within the shop for at least temporary cover and to give himself a mome (18:50:23) (GM)(Prysus): *moment. (18:50:42) (GM)(Prysus): ((Done for the moment. React!)) (18:52:31) (PC)Shepard): *uses coms to try to regroup with the rest of his team*
(18:55:06)
(GM)(Prysus):
And how so Shepard? I'm just looking for some details so I can respond
appropriately. (18:55:29) (PC)Deadeye): .oO(dam humans) *uncloaks as future actions would be wasted staying hidden and grabs Bo with 2 arms and slides him over the shoulder holding the rifle in the spare arms and heads quickly to the furthest exit from where the human jumped in the window* "Who ever you are I suggest you don't sit still... you'll be done for if you do" (18:57:10) (PC)Shepard): Shepard would try to communicate to find out where everyone is, and then work out to meet up. If an alien is around, would use teamwork to try to spot and say: "don't go that way," etc, until everyone can meet up. (18:57:37) (GM)(Prysus): ((Deadeye: What's your Body stat? And do you have any Defects such as "Not So Strong" that will affect that?)) (18:58:25) (PC)Deadeye): (7 and no) (18:59:15) ChatBot: (GM)(Prysus) rolls 2d6 and gets (6,5)=11. (19:00:06) (GM)(Prysus): Okay, responding (to both, so please be patient) ... (19:07:00) (GM)(Prysus): The first one to radio in to Shepard is Danny Maxwell, "On 3rd and Birsh. No sign of the alien. Moving to ..." In the distance, there's an explosion in the direction of 3rd and Birsh. Fire and smoke rises up from the area. There's a moment's pause. Then over the radio the voice of Maxwell sounds again, "I'm good, I'm good." The sizzling sound can still be heard in the air from the alien fire. There's a second shot to the same area. "Under fire, but I can't see the enemy." (19:07:22) (PC)Shepard): "Anyone closeby?" (19:09:39) (GM)(Prysus): The soldier in the shop with Deadeye approaches, "Where did you -- never mind. If you got a back way out of here then lead the way." From his time at the shop, Deadeye knows there is a backdoor to the shop for deliveries. (19:09:44) ChatBot: (GM)(Prysus) rolls 2d6 and gets (3,3)=6. (19:09:55) ChatBot: (GM)(Prysus) rolls 2d6 and gets (3,1)=4. (19:11:10) (GM)(Prysus): Hmm ... Shepard, roll 2D6 for me. (19:11:45) ChatBot: (PC)Shepard) rolls 2d6 and gets (1,3)=4. (19:13:28) (PC)Deadeye): *quickly moves out the delivery door and scans the area moves looking for more shelter to stay as hidden as possible but listening for explosions to try and determine what path the rampage is coming in on so it can be avoided*
(19:14:15)
(GM)(Prysus):
Maxwell, "I don't see anything." *There's another blast into the area.* (19:14:52) (PC)Shepard): Shepard can hear it near shepard, or near Maxwell? (19:15:01) (GM)(Prysus): Near Shepard. (19:15:40) (PC)Shepard): *on coms.* "Going silent." *and mutes it, mentally cursing, hiding from the alien.* (19:16:38) (GM)(Prysus): Hmm ...
(19:16:49)
(GM)(Prysus):
Deadeye, roll 2D6! (19:17:09) ChatBot: (PC)Deadeye) rolls 2d6 and gets (1,1)=2. (19:17:13) (PC)Shepard): oO(Just a few more weeks and I'd be out of here, too >_< ) (19:17:15) (GM)(Prysus): Son of a -- (19:17:19) (PC)Deadeye): (oh I hope thats good)
(19:17:28)
(GM)(Prysus):
Very good. (19:17:42) (PC)Shepard): (equivalent of Nat 20) (19:18:17) (GM)(Prysus): Shepard manages to hide, though the alien is now standing near his position and holding, at least for the time being.
(19:20:26)
(PC)Deadeye):
(yea well some times high is good other times low so depending thats very good
or horiible, I'm glad its the first
(19:21:00)
(GM)(Prysus):
With 2D6, low is good. With 1D6, high is good. Consistent.
(19:21:55) (PC)Shepard): *tilts his head* oO(Are they listening to our coms?) *then out of desperation... uses telekenesis to write in the sand/dirt/rubble "Why are you attacking these humans?" in Veriton.*
(19:22:39)
(PC)Shepard):
*and sees if he can't sneak past the alien while he's distracted.
(19:25:32) (GM)(Prysus): Deadeye tries to get a good feel for the path of the alien destruction. The attacks are all over the city. There is no path from east to west or north to south, but scattered across the city. Still, he's been watching for a while, just sitting in the shop window looking out at everything going on. Watching as much as he has he's noticed two distinct attack patterns. The first is actually a distinct pattern. Since this is a dome, they appear to be moving in sweeping arcs. Different locations and spread out across the city, but the patterns themselves are fairly predictable. The second attack pattern is a bit more random and harder to predict. This is likely attacking large groups or spots of resistance. Those are the ones roving, unpredictable, but fewer in numbers. (19:26:36) ChatBot: (GM)(Prysus) rolls 1d6 and gets (1)=1. (19:26:44) (GM)(Prysus): Heheh. (19:30:32) (GM)(Prysus): Shepard starts to carve the message into the dirt. The alien looks at it. As the words continue to be carved it seems to have caught its attention, as this isn't just some one time sound, but a constant motion, yet there's nothing there. Words continue to be carved into the ground. When Shepard gets halfway done with the word 'attacking' the alien points its tubed arm at the area. There's the weapon charge, and then blast. The pwoer of the blast sends dirt into the air creating a dirt cloud all around them. Shepard can still hear the sizzle of charged particles in the air. (19:31:13) (PC)Deadeye): *looks over to the human* "I've been paying attention to whats going on, and they are closing in... we need to slip past one of the arcs and get to where they have already been and lay low" *will use the cover of darkness to try and move past one of their arcs and look for a good pile of ruble to blend into*
(19:32:22)
(PC)Shepard):
*tries to escape in the dustcloud.* (19:32:56) (GM)(Prysus): And not a problem Shepard. (19:34:27) (PC)Shepard): *escapes and gets further away, and then turns on coms again, and tries to locate the others.* "Look, as a precaution in case they're listening in, use names that we'd know, but not actual street names." (19:34:55) (PC)Shepard): "Right now I'm at the place where Charlie got really drunk and woke up hanging upsidedown by his underwear." (19:37:59) (GM)(Prysus): Hmm ... okay. (19:39:23) (GM)(Prysus): Shepard, roll 2D6. (19:41:10) ChatBot: (PC)Shepard) rolls 2d6 and gets (2,5)=7. (19:41:25) ChatBot: (Lurking_Mon) enters the channel. (19:41:35) (GM)(Prysus): For Deadeye to get to the nearest already swept area, it'll involve going through a few more buildings and around some corners. (19:42:46) ChatBot: (Lurking_Mon) leaves the channel. (19:42:47) (PC)Deadeye): (need rolls?) (19:42:54) ChatBot: (Lurking_Mon) enters the channel. (19:42:57) (GM)(Prysus): Not at present. (19:45:10) (PC)Deadeye): *will lurk through the buildings trying not to go to slow, but not fast enough to get spotted* .oO(Bo wake up already, I'm tired of lugging you around) (19:46:52) (PC)Deadeye): *at the human* "My name is deadeye by the way. Is there any way off this rock, because we should probably be heading there if there is." (19:54:48) (PC)Shepard): *will try to meet up with the others and regroup.* (19:55:03) (GM)(Prysus): For note: Typing ...
(19:58:25)
(GM)(Prysus):
The soldier with Deadeye appears rather skilled at what he's doing. He maintains
breath, knows how to look out for danger, then move quick when the need arises.
"Alex Ares. Right now I'm just trying to meet up with the rest of my unit. Maybe
one of them will have some ideas."
(20:00:43)
(PC)Shepard):
"I got seperated from my unit when they attacked."
(20:02:03) (GM)(Prysus): Shepard is able to see the man's black armor has only black highlights. The same as Shepard and his unit have blue highlights to represent they're from Blue Eagle, this means this man is from Black Eagle, special forces. (20:02:10) (PC)Deadeye): "Where is your unit, we can head that way" .oO(the lesser of 2 evils) (20:03:01) (PC)Shepard): oO(Black Eagle... that would explain why he survived.) ((does he know of Major Sykes, if nothing else by reputation?)) (20:03:22) (GM)(Prysus): ((I'll leave that to player discretion.)) (20:04:22) (GM)(Prysus): The message continues to repeat over the radio ... until there's a sudden his and cut-off as if the signal was cut off. (20:05:42) (PC)Shepard): (in that case I'll say he's heard of him once or twice by reputation, but doesn't know much about him) (20:06:15) (PC)Shepard): *switches his radio so he can hear only.*
(20:09:35)
(GM)(Prysus):
Ares, "We scattered to lose the enemy. They should be in the area somewhere, but
we've been ordered to radio silence." (20:11:06) (GM)(Prysus): And, because it's convenient, I'll say the already decimated area where Shepard and Sykes are located is the same area where Alex and Deadeye were heading for safer travels. (20:11:15) (PC)Shepard): "Sam! (other dude's name) Glad you're okay." oO(For now.) (20:14:32) (GM)(Prysus): Sam, "Jordan, good to see you made it. We were close to the tunnel when it blew. Luckily these guys found us, or not sure we'd have recovered." (20:15:14) (PC)Shepard): *nods* "Good thing then." *looks to Sykes for orders to move out.* (20:16:18) (PC)Deadeye): *will have heard the different type of explosion being in the area and begun to head that way hoping the other humans are there* "Your comrades should be near by.. perhaps when we run into them you'll be kind enough to tell them not to attack me?" (20:19:01) (GM)(Prysus): Ares, "Heh, count it a deal. You're not attacking us, so right now you're pretty low on our security concerns." (20:27:27) ChatBot: Tark enters the channel. (20:28:00) (GM)(Prysus): Major Sykes, "We can't call in to Earth, but our every indication is that the Solar Mark com is still operational. That means the signals just being cut off and we have to figure they can not only hear everything we say on the radio, but triangulate those positions to near pinpoint accuracy. We have an evac plan, but we need to get to the military dome to make it work. We need to round up as many civilians as possible, but we don't have long. We can only hold those plans another hour. After that ... we take who have. The bridge is out, so we'll need to find a different way to get the civilians out. Get them suits, masks, just the ones strong enough to make the trip unprotected, whatever it takes." (20:29:07) (PC)Shepard): *nods* oO(I'm glad I made my unit all wear suits.) (20:30:31) (GM)(Prysus): And at this point I'm just going to say Alex Ares and Deadeye arrive enough that both groups are within visuals of each other. (20:31:37) (PC)Deadeye): *stands behind Ares using him to obscure line of sight of trigger happy humans* (20:31:58) (PC)Shepard): "Ares, glad you made it. Is that... Bo Fletcher?" ((Is Deadeye holding him still?)) (20:33:03) (PC)Deadeye): (yea still carting his sleeping ass around) (20:33:16) ChatBot: (LurkN_Erinoth) enters the channel. (20:33:29) (GM)(Prysus): Alex, "Bo and another friend. They're good, and helped me escape one of those shade aliens." (20:33:44) (PC)Deadeye): "Well Bo is sorta unconscious, but I believe he is okay" (20:34:05) (PC)Shepard): "Alright, let me check him out... I'm no xenobiologist but I have some medical..." *glances at Sykes* "Unless, sir, you have a xenodoctor on your team? (20:35:11) (GM)(Prysus): With a head motion towards Bo and the others Skyes says, "Go." (20:35:14) (PC)Deadeye): "hes just to lazy to wake up, don't trouble yourself" (20:35:35) (PC)Shepard): *heads over, and checks him.* (20:35:38) (PC)Deadeye): *puts him down* "but you can carry him for a while* (20:35:40) (PC)Shepard): checks Bo* (20:35:44) (GM)(Prysus): And Shepard, roll your medical skills (Mind stat base). (20:35:50) ChatBot: (PC)Shepard) rolls 2d6 and gets (2,1)=3.
(20:35:59)
(PC)Shepard):
(20:36:42) (PC)Shepard): ( / 8 because it's diagnosis) (20:37:21) ChatBot: Tark leaves the channel. (20:39:37) (GM)(Prysus): He seems healthy, but in a hibernation. Possibly a timed hibernation like a bear who hibernates for winter, but he's never heard of Bo hibernating before. His diagnosis would suggest that this is more likely some type of racial defense mechanism, enter into a hibernation to show they're not a threat. Shepard has seen Bo Fletcher stand up against thugs and military personnel giving him grief, so for something to be bad enough to trigger this type or response, it must be really bad. (20:42:04) (PC)Shepard): *relays the information to everyone.* "Unfortunately I don't know how to pull him out of it." (20:42:07) (PC)Deadeye): *stretch the arms out that was used to lug Bo around with and then switches weapon to the top arms* "Is there a way outta here?" *said in general not knowing ranks or anything that would signify someone in particular was in charge* (20:42:11) (PC)Shepard): "Let's get a stretcher then?" (20:46:42) (GM)(Prysus): And if desired, I'm sure they can get a makeshift stretcher going. (20:47:06) (GM)(Prysus): Though, for the time being, I'm letting some planning go on between players of how they want to proceed. (20:47:17) (PC)Shepard): *helps takes turns carrying Bo.* (20:47:41) (PC)Shepard): will basically try to make it for the military dome, scavenge any spacesuits they find, help any civillians they find, etc. (20:47:55) (PC)Shepard): if they can't use the tunnel, may need to breifly go outside. (20:48:32) (GM)(Prysus): Actually, going outside is pretty much a guarantee. (20:50:06) (GM)(Prysus): And no particular plan or course of action beyond the basics then? I'm not complaining, I'm just inquiring and making sure. (20:50:47) (PC)Shepard): "Maybe we can use radioes to set up a trap and lure them away from whichever route we take?" (20:52:53) (PC)Deadeye): (I will be tagging along keeping an eye on Bo) (20:55:17) (GM)(Prysus): Sykes, "Sounds like a plan. The timing will need to be right, but could work. I'll leave a couple of my men with you to help. When you get there, someone should be there to help. If not, just head for the mines. In the meantime, I'm going to continue scouting and try to organize more together." (20:55:59) (PC)Shepard): *nods* "Yes, sir"
(21:00:26)
(GM)(Prysus):
Anyways, just trying to get a feel. If there's nothing more, I can do some
random rolls for you. Or if you have more thoughts and actions, I'm listening
(actions can help the rolls, but if nothing else that's fine).
(21:01:51)
(PC)Shepard):
that's the only action I can think of (21:03:04) (GM)(Prysus): Deadeye? (21:06:06) (GM)(Prysus): Okay, I need each of you to roll 1D6. One roll is for luck, and the other roll is for civvies (how many, any important or useful, etc.). You can call which you want to roll for, or I'll just take the first roll for luck and the second one for civvies. (21:06:14) ChatBot: (PC)Deadeye) rolls 1d6 and gets (4)=4.
(21:06:24)
(GM)(Prysus):
((And if Deadeye does have something to add, I don't mind waiting.
(21:06:25) (PC)Deadeye): (yea sorry can't think of anything else) (21:06:50) (GM)(Prysus): ((Okay, and that's fine. I typically just wait for a response so I know to move forward.)) (21:09:19) ChatBot: (PC)Shepard) rolls 1d6 and gets (1)=1. (21:10:54) (GM)(Prysus): Well ... yeah ... no luck good or bad (which can be good in its own right), and no luck with the civvies ... (21:15:44) (GM)(Prysus): Through the process Shepard does manage to reunite with a few more members of the unit, though there are still members missing. Some may have been killed, or lost, but there's only so much one can do while maintaining radio silence. They manage to gather up only a couple of other civviees. On the plus side, they did manage to find a couple of oxygen masks, which isn't perfect, but should help those without suits survive a trip outside, but the toxic air is only one problem with going outside the domes. Another is the extreme heat. Luckily it's night on Alur, not that one could tell with the constant red sky overhead. The temperatures are probably at least in managable levels, maybe about 120 degrees (F). (21:18:08) (GM)(Prysus): ((Without a more targeting certain areas or people, this left it to luck. And I'm pausing there for players to respond moer.)) (21:20:11) (PC)Shepard): will set up a radio, hidden, but on, with a recorded message playing, an equivalent of: "I have some information," along with some sort of codewords to know that it's completely false. (21:20:31) (PC)Deadeye): *will be keeping a careful eye out for approaching enemies and will have gone back into a camouflage mode after dropping Bo* (21:21:06) ChatBot: (GM)(Prysus) rolls 2d6 and gets (6,2)=8. (21:26:16) (GM)(Prysus): Jordan Shepard, Sam, Alex Ares, Deadeye, Bo Fletcher (unconscious), Rose Scott, Rose's little sister, plus one unnamed member of Blue 17 and two members from Black Eagle started this trip. Along the way they've managed to round up 5 other members for Blue 17 and Blue 18, and 3 other Civvies. The military personnel are dressed in environmental armor, so that will make the journey between the two domes fairly simple. Out of the civilians, Rose Scott is injured and having trouble walking, often needing support just to stand. Her little sister is young, only 4 or 5 years old, and doesn't make her very strong or durable. Bo Fletcher is unconscious. The three other civvies are at least neutral, which doesn't mean they've very useful but at least they're not handicapping them. (21:28:46) (GM)(Prysus): You have 11 soldiers (that's including Shepard), and 7 civilians (that's including Deadeye). There's at least 3 civilians that will likely need special considerations when making the trip outside. (21:29:39) (PC)Shepard): *to Sykes.* "Sir, If we can spare about 10 minutes... I have a psionic that can heal an injury. Only problem is I can't use it while moving. We could also hide and then catch up later with the rest of you, if I had one or two people to cover me, it wouldn't endanger everyone else." (21:30:52) (GM)(Prysus): Sykes left earlier to try and organize other groups. BUT! Since you mentioned him (and I'll be honest, I forgot him), Shepard roll 1D6, the higher the better. (21:30:54) (PC)Deadeye): "Well if Bo is hibernating, his breathing should be minimal and as such I can get us through the area quickly with out any breathing needs." (21:32:12) (PC)Deadeye): "provided we won't be out there very long" (21:32:20) ChatBot: (PC)Shepard) rolls 1d6 and gets (1)=1.
(21:32:26)
(PC)Shepard):
( (21:32:49) (GM)(Prysus): And there's been no sign of Sykes since. (21:33:05) (PC)Deadeye): *looks around for anything shiney enough to open a portal on* (21:33:13) (GM)(Prysus): ((You needed a 3 or higher for him to return, with a 5 or higher for him to have returned with some additional help for them.)) (21:33:36) (GM)(Prysus): Deadeye, 1D6. (21:33:42) ChatBot: (PC)Deadeye) rolls 1d6 and gets (4)=4. (21:34:41) (GM)(Prysus): He finds something approximately 3 feet by 4 feet, reflective surface, and light enough to be transported. (21:35:16) (PC)Deadeye): *studies the 3 with special needs debating if they would all fit inside the portal* (21:35:24) (PC)Shepard): in that case... will get 10 minutes and heal up Rose the best he can. (21:35:28) (PC)Shepard): (20 points) (21:36:41) (GM)(Prysus): He could probably fit 2, but one would need to be the little girl. (21:36:49) (PC)Deadeye): "I think I have a solution for the kid and the injured one"
(21:36:56)
(PC)Deadeye):
(figured (21:37:01) (PC)Shepard): "Oh?" (21:37:17) (GM)(Prysus): ((And hey, I give you credit, I hadn't thought of that solution.)) (21:37:58) (PC)Deadeye): *moves and grabs the scrap seen and standing it on its side opens a portal* "I can stash 2 in here for a limited time they will be fine" (21:38:23) (PC)Shepard): @_@ "That... might be useful. Especially for transporting the child." (21:38:30) (PC)Shepard): "Is it safe?" (21:38:47) (PC)Deadeye): "safer than out there I would assume" (21:38:55) (GM)(Prysus): ((For note: As long as the surface remains intact. If it gets destroyed ...)) (21:39:46) (PC)Shepard): *considers.* "Alright, but wait until we're near the rondezvous point." (21:39:48) (GM)(Prysus): ((Which, in fairness, is still pretty safe under the current conditions.)) (21:39:53) (PC)Deadeye): (well closing it would be idea save breathable air, and if it gets destroyed will just have to look for a new shiny) (21:40:43) (GM)(Prysus): ((Hmm ... I see what you're saying. We'll figure out the details another day.)) (21:40:49) (PC)Shepard): *will heal up Rose as much as he can in 10 minutes, then make it doubletime to the rondezvous point to meet up with Sykes, or else try to get to the military dome* (21:41:09) (PC)Deadeye): "Yea I don't think they would get any air but what is in there when I seal it... so as short a time in it would be best" (21:41:24) (PC)Shepard): *will ask Deadeye to do his trick once they get near the outside and have the child and maybe Rose be in there.* (21:41:59) (PC)Deadeye): *will give the shiny surface to one of the civvies to carry to keep his hands free for combat if needed*
(21:42:25)
(GM)(Prysus):
That should work. And with Bo Fletcher being carried around anyways, no real
difference there. The surface can be carried on Bo's stretcher.
(21:45:46) (GM)(Prysus): And, due to the tactics of healing and using the portal, I'm willing to say they can make it to the military dome okay. Some of the civvies are ready to drop from heat exhaustion (they have oxygen masks/tanks, so not suffocating from toxic air at least). So far there's been no sign of Sykes since their initial encounter. (21:46:24) (GM)(Prysus): At the military dome airlock, there's a pair of soldiers from Black Eagle guarding the door and can let the group in. (21:47:04) (PC)Shepard): *is relieved they could make it.* (21:47:57) (PC)Deadeye): *will open the portal to let the people out and put Bo back on the stretcher* "so there is a boat off of this planet in here?" (21:49:02) (GM)(Prysus): Well, I didn't mean that Bo would be off the stretcher. Just that they could carry the surface on the stretcher with Bo.
(21:49:14)
(GM)(Prysus):
Since he's just lying there, no harm in carrying the surface along with him.
(21:49:46) (GM)(Prysus): Unless Deadeye was carrying him? But that wouldn't have really been necessary (I don't think). (21:50:10) (PC)Deadeye): (ok)
(21:50:36)
(GM)(Prysus):
Anyways, trivial detail really. Either way it will be fine.
(21:52:08) (GM)(Prysus): Black Eagle, "Lt. Colonel Weiss (leader of Black Eagle) is directing everyone to the mining facility. Think you can make it?" (21:52:32) (PC)Shepard): *nods* "Yes. Some of the civillians need suits if you can spare them." (21:52:39) (GM)(Prysus): The military dome appears to still be standing and has yet to be decimated like the civilian dome. (21:53:24) (PC)Deadeye): *will tag along to the mining facility* (21:55:22) (GM)(Prysus): Black Eagle, "You'll have to get 'em somewhere else. For now we're just keeping people moving and looking out for attackers." (21:56:07) (PC)Shepard): "Understood." *will take everyone towards the mining facility* (Do they need suits for the mining facility? or no?) (21:56:32) (PC)Deadeye): (suits wee needed for outside the dome but we made it) (21:57:27) (GM)(Prysus): If you were going to be doing a lot of mining you might want some kind of suits or gear to avoid burns, dust, etc. But, shouldn't be too bad for a limited time, especially if there's no mining going on at the time.
(21:58:59)
(PC)Shepard):
(fair enough. (22:01:59) (GM)(Prysus): When the group reaches the entrance to the mine they see groups of other people there, likely gathered together and brought here by others. But they're all just standing around outside. Standing guard in front of the mine are members of Gold Eagle (heavy infantry), weapons pointed with business end towards the groups gathered there. They haven't fired, and don't seem to be looking to kill anyone, but they don't seem to be willing to let anyone in either. (22:02:26) (PC)Shepard): "What's going on?" *looks for Sykes.* (22:04:12) ChatBot: (GM)(Prysus) rolls 1d6 and gets (1)=1. (22:04:21) (GM)(Prysus): Gold Eagle, "The mines are restricted access only. We are under strict orders to let no one inside." (22:05:34) (GM)(Prysus): Shepard is able to see Sykes off in the distance, entering in through one of the dome entrances. It looks like he has a few other stragglers with him, but not many more. This attack seems to have been very thorough, and finding anyone at all is a miracle in these conditions. With him just getting in the dome, it will still take him some time before he can make it to the mine entrance. (22:06:06) (PC)Shepard): "We're being attacked by fricken Kazire who are wiping us out by the thousands and you're worried about restricted access?" (22:07:46) (GM)(Prysus): Gold Eagle, "Those orders came down less than 15 minutes ago. Now we're going to need everyone to stand down and step away from the entrance." *He doesn't sound like an evil man, but someone who intends to do his job.* (22:07:54) (GM)(Prysus): ((And ... how much longer does everyone have?)) (22:08:07) (PC)Deadeye): (30 minutes or so) (22:08:11) (PC)Shepard): "From who? Who gave the orders?" (22:08:13) (PC)Shepard): (same) (22:08:32) (GM)(Prysus): ((Well, we can call if it you'd like, but we can continue a bit longer if you would prefer.)) (22:09:29) (PC)Deadeye): (either or) (22:09:52) (PC)Shepard): (either way) (22:10:46) (GM)(Prysus): And okay, I think we'll call it here then. (22:11:06) (PC)Deadeye): thanks for running! (22:11:08) (GM)(Prysus): This way I can just type up some of the scenes and explanation up for next game opening to save time. (22:11:37) (GM)(Prysus): Thanks for playing. *Big group hugs.*
(22:12:19)
(PC)Shepard):
*Hugs!* thanks for running
(22:12:41)
(GM)(Prysus):
And next week you should get a much better idea of what is going on. (22:13:41) (PC)Deadeye): sweet, well I am gonna jet off to bed, and catch up with you all next week, take care!
(22:13:55)
(GM)(Prysus):
Farewell and safe journeys. |
